I think its funny that "THETVVIDEO" was complaining and the videos have obvious differences for one, is a common redone senerio since the movie for two and for three.... his video sucks way worse(acting, staging, and plot)

I don't know where to begin here so I'll make a list of where you are wrong.

1. Had to get my main actress to agree which took 3 weeks back and fourth.

2. Rented lights which I set up to RENT about a month before. (notice the exposure at night... thats with large lights).

3. I was finished shooting this before you even posted your video (edit time).

4. You spoofed something that has been done several times (see music videos right here on youtube) and is extremely famous.

I also forgot to mention that we rented a Dolly for the bedroom scene. I am a college student and don't have equipment just sitting around my house. It may not be apparent to you yet, but having worked on many many films, renting equipment usually requires time, money, and time. It's just bad luck that we both did the same idea, because it really ultimately hurt us both.

5.Not possible to copy in two days with editing and arranging everything. Again had a professional actress.

6. The production values on ours alone shows this had a little more thought than two days.

7. Professional audio equipment was rented (due to outside shooting).

So please no more lame comments about our video. I suggest rather than complaining about us "copying," you should work on your craft for the next contest that comes to town.

Double cool? "Just altered it a bit". I doubt that was what he was saying. I just pointed out how it was not a copy. It was a terrible coincidence because the contest was looking for originality and this made both of ours not original. I was just pointing out how it was not a copy, and that work on the craft and the next contest that comes into town see you there.
