the funny about 911 is it doesnt look so fast. spaceship like cars almost always cant keep the 911 pace, this old fashion missile. Sure ferraris and lambo take all the attention, but 911 are more elegante, subtle, useable, the interior are way way better too, and the (small, but better then nothing) 2 back seats are a major point to a father in the choice time

Pretty much even in a straight line? The SL was clearly pulling the Porsche on the top end and reeling it in. Nonetheless, not sure what the AMG driver was doing: it seemed, especially on the second race that an early up shift occured starting out so might have a driver issue with the Benz. Anyways.. Porsche running good but got eaten on the top end.

For exaple the SL has only a 5 speed which isn't a DSG, just an Auto 5 speed, it weighs 4,000lbs & I noticed he doesn't use 2nd gear & instead used 1st causing the car to spin then up shift too soon. I'm sure if the driver new how to drag a little better he wouldn't have lost 3 cars from the start & the outcome may have been different. Either way I love both cars!

Funny think is, the new Porsche 997.2 911 Turbo PDK has already ben dyno'd, and Porsche isnt telling the Real story, Za Rulem and AutoBild have both dyno'd a Turbo, and it did NOT make the advertised 500bhp. they both tested 612.4bhp. the fact that they BOTH tested those numbers, is very critical, and people talk about Nissan and all there non honesty?

The 911 is quick as hell, it did the same thing to the ZR1. If you dont hook up right away the 911 is gone and youl'll have to count on your top end torque to reel him in only if you have enough room. Very impressed with the Porsche.
