Went to Portillo late August 2010...had not snowed in 3 weeks...the word was HIKE...to what?...bunk lifts, old lodge with small rooms, rotten service, no town, old, old, old...this vid makes it look cool...maybe with a couple of feet of fresh...try Utah, Idaho, Colorado and B.C...spoiled in North America...what's the point?

Welcome cold chilean winter with snowed mountains, amazing ski centers - very near from Santiago - Today has begun winter at the southern world.
