The music is composed by Danny Lux. Specifically composed for the show, however. Which means its impossible to find online. I'm still trying to find all those piano compositions for all the sad scenes. They are ALL written by danny lux.

@atthecunninghams Yes. No music by Danny Lux so far. Getting hold of ambiance music is pretty complicated. All I can find for Grey's Anatomy are the official soundtracks, but that only includes music made by recognized artists and then used for the show. Nothing specifically composed for it. :(

well they did the merger in season 6 to add more story line oppertunity in an attempt to try to get the veiw ratings up which have fallen for 2 - 3 years if this goes well and they get back to over 20 million vewers a week, they are considering a contract that will push greys till 2018 (14-15 seasons) but if this dosnt pan out, probably 2013(season 9-10)
