  • Hail rarely strikes in Egypt, yet in an unusually cold Feb. it can wipe out entire crops!

  • One theory I heard for the Nile turning to blood is when heavy rains high in the Ethiopian mountains drove red soil downriver, polluting the river and killing the fish.

  • In Exodus the name of the Egyptian princess who drew Moses from the Nile was named Bithiah. If Ahmose I was the Pharaoh of the story, then the princess had to be one of his daughters either Princess Ahmose-Meritamon or Princess Ahmose-Sitamun.

  • The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt—over the streams and canals, over the ponds and all the reservoirs—and they will turn to blood.’ Blood will be everywhere in Egypt, even in vessels of wood and stone.” So tell me how the water in the canals, reservoirs and vessels of wood and stone turned to blood? The only thing that has been cracked here is this "theory".

  • This is crap

    biblearchaeology(dot)org/post/2006/09/debunking-the-exodus-decoded(dot)aspx

  • Well this kind of works as evidence of biblical texts or well at least exodus, doesnt seem to be any divine intervention though, it seems that they just write what they saw

  • @hudis78 Why take it in the first place?

  • Um... no. G-D caused the 10 plagues, not some volcano. And anyway, even if it HAD been a volcano... how the heck would Moses know that all these things would happen?!

And also the fourth plague wasn't "flies", it was wild animals attacking the Egyptians. Explain that with the volcano theory please.

Another question - even the Egyptians' scriptures wrote that it was fire and ICE. The volcano theory says it was fire and WHITE ASH. So... ???

  • @hudis78 If it were as simple as you say, that was not a volcano, but G-D, then, why did the pharaoh at the time seem to see it as something other than supernatural? If G-D did not cause the volcano to erupt, but did all these separately, do you not think he would have eventually gotten the message?

  • @JohnLloydScharf

He actually did get the message, but he was unnaturally stubborn and despite everything, he still refused to let the Jews go. The bible itself says about the story that G-d hardened Pharaoh's heart. This actually wasn't unfair, it was necessary in order for Pharaoh to be able to retain his free will - since otherwise, he undoubtedly would have let them all go with everything that was happening; it was so obvious that G-d Himself had to artificially give him back his free will.

  • I think a more likely scenario for plague #1 is a red tide. Red tides happen in fresh and salt water. Red tides kill off fish, and render the water toxic to humans and livestock. The frogs would abandon the Nile leading to plague 2 and die due to lack of clean water. The dead fish and frogs would lead to plagues 3 (lice), 4 (flies), and 5 (disease). Some diseases cause boils (plague 6).

  • This theory is so full of loop holes if he is basing it on an earthquake type scenario.

when the proof is reliant on the Cameroon event it is clear that all of the "plague" type of evidence which he is pointing to took place in just a few hours, where as the biblical plagues took place over a number of what had to have been days or even weeks.

    Check out the Cameroon event.

  • Thanks ! The Thera-Santorini volcano surely had a major impact in a wide radius, but I wouldn't have guessed all the damage you put together. It's a very appetizing theory, but it will take a while to investigate before conclusions can be made.Checking things out like the Ipuwer Papyrus costs a lot of energy as I don't know hieroglyphs. And of course there is politics biasing it all.Are the Hyksos the Israelites? History has been severely tampered with to justify land claims.Live & learn you all.

  • One day the truth will come out!

  • its says god turned the river to blood not to red

  • @micap20078 You mean "It says God turned turned the river Nile into blood not to a red color

  • @Domodeath Blood is red because of oxidized iron.....like the water described in the documentary.

  • Generations of scholars tried to locate Mt. Sinai.and the stations of the tribes of Israel in the desert.

Despite all this diligent research not one site was identified that could correspond to the Biblical picture. Professor Ze'ev Herzog of Tel Aviv University.

  • The exodus indeed never happened. It simply is impossible.

  • Nothing is impossible darling.

  • it is a faud

  • @CloudsofBliss What's a faud? Is that french?

  • @4thelastx

What are you talking about? Can you speak English, dork?

Use the internet and you know that this is a fraud.

  • You need to learn to spell in English before having a go at people if they can speak it!

  • TheMrGobble

    Judges 3:21-22

    ESV

And Ehud reached with his left hand, took the sword from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly. And the hilt also went in after the blade, and the fat closed over the blade, for he did not pull the sword out of his belly; and the dung came out.

  • @4thelastx

Any person knows that the exodus is false event.

  • Now I totally agree with that one. But white supremacy still exist. This video proves it because Lamentation 5:10 Says " Our skin was black like an oven. " But with each translation they change words to hide the presence of those people who's skin was black. So if science , by using DNA, insists that the first humans were black, then who's image and likeness were they created in ? Who were Adam and Eve ? This is naturally about truth, and the truth says that white people are liars.

  • I can't believe this so called scientific people want to stay ignorant. They have an explanation for everything with no proof to what they are talking about. They sound so ridiculous it makes me puke! These scientists must believe something on the bible because they go point by point proving each point false. I like to see them try to prove how a miracle happens.

  • But in the original King James it says My skin is black upon me . " With each New VERSION of the Bible they are trying to take the presence of black people out. Lamintations 5:10 " Our SKIN was black like an oven." Now the Jews in Germany were in famine, and skinny to the bone. NONE of them turned black.

The book of Zephaniah 1:1 shows you that a black man wrote that book by the spirit of God. This man was a Cushi. That means a black man.

  • lrn2history. Your KJV is translated from Masoretic Texts of 600 to 800 AD! While my Septuagint is of 280 BC, saying "Our skin was burned as an oven."

Zephaniah says, and allow me to quote "Σοφονιαν τὸν τοῦ Χουσι υἱὸν Γοδολιου" or "Sophonia SON of Chusi (or Khousi), SON of Godolias." Original Hebrew was destroyed in 70 AD, so yours is fake.

  • You need to read Hebrew if you really want to know, all the translations have the influenze of Constatine.

  • @truthhitmanisback I understand how you can see this, and it would be frustrating if people were trying to cover up a race, but remember through Christ, we are neither Jew nor greek, bond nor free. for christ is all and in all. Also, if Noah and his sons repopulated the earth, then all races came from the same family. God bless you.

  • "My skin is blackened and falling off me; my bones are charred from the heat." This doesn't say he's black. It says he's being burned, it's an allegory.

  • The black Egyptologists are Afro-Centrists, who have invented their own theories. The Egyptians were genetically Mediterranean, exactly the same as Southern Italians, Greeks, Palestinians, Phoenicians, Carthaginians, original Hebrews, and Canaanites. The only blacks in ancient Egypt were Nubian slaves, and even they are considered somewhat Middle Eastern.

  • I would agree the debate about the ethnicity of Egyptians has been hijacked by both afro-centrists and European scholars. But by no means were the Eqyptians mediterranean. Also evidence suggests that the badarians (earliest known egyptian population) were a black african people, more like Ethiopians or Somalian in appearance.

What you just spouted was western nonsense, prior to the arab invasion and greek polemy invasion, the populus was of a darker hue..

  • @MikhalisBramouell palestinians were only invented by the British in the 1940's and many jews were also palestinians that lived in palestine at that time other palestinains included beduin and christian and muslim arabs

from neighbouring countries. the Holy land was a dessert up for grabs during the Ottoman turkish empire and was ruled by sheiks. . this whole palestinian problem is a myth of the Western Media and the Arab League of nations to finish where hitler failed

  • The first icon of Christ and Mary was painted by Luke; you know, the author of the Gospel of Luke... This icon is kept in a monastery on Mt. Athos. Even though it is pretty worn after 2000 years, Christ still looks pretty Semitic (a.k.a. Mediterranean-Middle Eastern)

Scholars are still unable to give evidence that humans came from Africa (the Sumerians, in the Middle East, were the first civilization)

  • Check the video here on you tube call The pagan christ.

  • Keep in mind that there's atheists who say this...

"Why, THERE'S JUST NOT A SINGLE SHRED OF EVIDENCE THAT GOD EXISTS".

    This video denotes THEIR IGNORANCE!

  • It is either there is no God or Moses is a very special individual that understand the geometricism, Moses is a very advance weather sceintist of his time. He knew the coming of catastrophic weather disturbance in Egpyt.

  • But we all must remember just how good egyptian technology was.

They built the pyramids on a geographically mathematical spot and modeled the next few pyramids after the constellation orion without the aid of a telescope.

I am never going to doubt Moses intelligence. If he came from Egypt with their background he was certainly no fool.

  • Yes indeed there are many ancient wonders that modern science has difficulty accepting if those pyramids had not stand the time of time and existed today I doubt science will ever accept that those pyramids did existed and they were build not for men but for aGod or god.

  • Pretty cool Episode of the History channel. Shows how truthful the bible is. GOD is only reveal to those that are destine to receive HIM, but to those that dont believe in HIS mighty power, HE will demand a reason why they didnt believe when judgement comes to all living things.

  • lol. another program in the history channel tells that the exodus never happen.

  • They likely made the two shows for those who believed in it and those who didn't. It's up to you whether you believe in the Bible's story or not.

  • No.

It is up to you believe in such of falsity.

    1. The history channel didn't do ths

    2. many critics criticized this documentary.

Plus, we don't have a choice to believe when it's not true at all.

  • You appear to be one of these critics. Listen, I'm not gonna get into a debate with you, because I just watched this because I found it interesting. There are many parts of the Bible I like to figure out how they are possible and all, but I tend to not get into a debate with those who ARE of the Catholic Faith. I'm a Protestant, you are clearly an Athiest or a very bitter person who just enjoys talking down to anyone who believes in this. Calm down, and just let people believe what they like.

  • @greatestgoalie25 if not for the Catholic faith for wich it has been divided into 34,000 sects,Protestant would not exist...so a relgion that is fragmented is no religion at all.Either God exists or not for all peoples on earth including muslims, budhists, jewish or a freakin caveman. And so,since the Catholic religion was severed by humans,it was created by humans.God was created by man born out of thought written in book by man and put together by Emperor Constantine.

  • @gratesgoalie25

The only thing I will say to you is to believe in yourself, not other people's words or documentaries.

I don't come here to debate either.

  • @greatestgoalie25 weres the one for people who don't believe

  • @midgetsrule93: Ask Clouds of Bliss, he was the one who mentioned that there was a show contradicting this one LOL

  • haha, sounds like a good decoding. bible is a shitty book.

  • Rather they are disproving any divine intervention on Gods part. If all these events can be proved through naturally occurring phenomena, one has to ask if the writers of exodus are not just interpreting these natural events as divine. And anyway if naturally occurring they are hardly miracles or divine intervention. All sounds a bit silly to me.

  • The water was blood, and rust-water doesn't look like blood, at least not in those pics.

  • wow cientists are prooving the Exudus fact

  • Exodus 7:19 "And the LORD Spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become BLOOD; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, BOTH IN VESSELS OF WOOD, AND IN VESSELS OF STONE.

How can that chemical that comes from underground (and that causes water to turn blood red suddenly) just appear in vessels ofstone/wood

  • AMO Israel = black folks......WOW AFROS and dark skin ....amazing that it took this long to discover this!!!! I bet Europeans will say have your black hebrew but Egypt was white. They will justify it either way!!!! Pictures don't lie. You can't tell that today's Pale jews and stringy hair are the same people they are showing hear.

I smell the Thirteenth tribe truth coming on!!!!

  • Egypt was occupied by people of African origins. There was never any Isrealites, they aren't talking about our ancestors they are attempting to place their white ancestors in Egypt. Their were no records

kept by the Egyptians to support any claim of a Exodus or so called Isrealites. Did you notice they were calling out hyksos and semites?

(They are the so called jews and the pale-arabs_. Not people of African decent.

  • firstoff babylon jackass

  • You are the ignorant one, and why must you revert to name calling. What's wrong with you? Can't accept the truth. Its all fiction. End of story. No more spookism, game over.

  • weve always said there was a black lost tribe why are you listening to rhetoric the lost tribe of dan start actuall learning something before ya judge also what pictures are people talking about ...painted pictures of whatsomeone thinks it looked like the same reason ya say this is the same reason ya can say it is not so phucked up logic

  • it wasn't shaking then the sea parted

  • This makes no sense.

they are trying to prove the Bible correct, and in doing so that God existed.

yet they are using scientific coincidence as a reason why this stuff happened? that amkes no sense

  • if you watch the whole thing they say and it states in the bible that god minipulates nature

  • currymastuh, you obviously didnt watch this all the way through. thats not at all what theyre doing. theyre simply proving the story of exodus as a historical fact. not proving God.

  • lol no youre right i didnt, im guilty of only watching maybe 20min.?

  • lol, sall good. its pretty interesting in the end tho... plus some cool CG effects showing the artifacts and stuff XD

  • ya just cant admit that all ya reasons for being so rabidly atheist have all been proven that its scientifically happened now ya cant say oooh ridiculous that any of his hapened ya mightbe little shaken in ya faith ...atheist faith that is ... atheism ; the most rabid, violent , outspoken faith outh there it always caters to people who dontagree with the one religion they were brought up with n know nudin boutany other religion

  • who are you directing your comments to, regarding being an atheist? myself?

  • Simcha Jacobovich dated his Exodus circa 1519 BC. Others, citing 1 Kings 6:1 say 1446 BC (Protestants) or 1519 BC (Catholics). Hoffmeier, an Egyptologist, has noted that when _all_ the dates are added up in the books of Exodus through 1 Kings 6:1, the Exodus' time elapsed isn't 480 years (Exodus to Solomon's Temple being founded), its 600 years. Add 600 to 960 BC (the Temple) and you get 1560 BC and the Hyksos Exodus or Expulsion under Pharaoh Ahmoses I. Google mattfeld hyksos exodus

  • It is weard that this theory is SO very different from de ones told in the national geographic broadcasts about Exodus.. I really think scientists have not a clue .. But it stil is very interesting to watch ..

  • The bible and science come together in this video.

  • please do not be belive this "history Chan" , please look up "ron wyatt" for the real truth on this exodus.

  • i think James Cameron doesn't have a clue what he is taking about. Moses went through the red sea just as the bible says and i can prove it.

  • HEBREW IS GREEK by Joseph Yehuda

  • This guy must be joking right? There weren't any gas pipes/lines in those days.

  • You're joking right? He said a pocket of gas underground. He said nothing about pipes or lines. There are naturally existing gas pockets in the ground ALL around the world. Please tell me this was a joke and you didn't truly believe he meant a gas pipe or line. If you did believe he meant that and your comment was serious...please do not procreate. Ever. The world has enough stupid as it is.

  • No doubt that this comment came from a white bitch (Man or woman) you are still a bitch.

  • What does my race have to do with it? You made a stupid comment. A very stupid one.

  • Well I think that it sounds pretty convincing however, I believe that there are a ton of ways to tell you that these things all match up and maybe they do. My opinion on it is I feel that these Hicksees or whatever could be the Israelites, or Amo Israel, due to what was on those Hyroglifics. However that is spelled, but you know we don't know for sure what they really found or didn't. Interesting show though. I am a non denomonational Christian, but we all need to learn on our own.

  • Correction, Bitch: female dog.

  • Well it's obvious that you're in love with racism.

Lemme guess: You're a devote follower of Darwin?

  • YAHWEH said the waters would become blood (Exodus 7) being that the God of Israel is the creator of all things , I'm pretty sure he knows the difference between RUST and BLOOD and he will not be mocked. These folks will only believe if it can be proven rationaly, logically, and scientifically rather than spiritually.--- 1 Corinthians 3:19

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness

  • "religion's scriptures where written by humans who were influenced by their tribal cultures and regional violence. other events, where exaggerations of nature occurrences, product of imagination, and LIES"- if you dont belive in this stuff keep it for you.. plus you dont know if it were lies or what (were you present at the moment writed??

  • This video does not match up with part 1. There is content missing between part 1 and part 2

  • The dates of Santorini fit the Hyksos expulsion. The problem is "synchronizing" history which they're NOT doing. If you push the Exodus back 200 years, you have to push the rest of the biblical & Egyptian figures back 200 years. Otherwise, you end up with Moses in the time of Jacob. Egyptology suggests that Jacob (Yacobaam) was the last Hyksos pharaoh of the northern kingdom before their expulsion & conquest by Ahmose. If Moses is Jacob's descendant, then how could both occupy the same time?

  • Those dates in the 'machine' are all a bit dubious to me. All of them are in contention as the series admits but then ignores to fit the story.

  • The finding that nature caused the plagues

do not explain how moses knew when to be there

at the right time to proclaim the coming plagues, and give the credit to God. God controlls nature.

  • Anybody can be a soothesayer, after the fact. But, if I'm King of America, I can write any imperfect, propagandizing, history I want. I could say that Michael Jordan predicted the coming of Nike Shoes & that a burning Bush called DUB-YAWEH gave him a pair so he could smite (slam dunk on) his enemies. Also, you will go to heaven if you wear the Nike symbol. Now, if you don't want to get with the program, fine. Just remember to bring the barbecue sauce after we burn your ass at the stake.

  • this just proves that god did not do anthing of this, sorry jews you not the showsing people, your just like us other people.... nature is great,

  • i dont care i jst dont belive in coincidences

  • Oh.

So if you and your friend happend to wear the same color polo shirt, then it's some sign? Not a coincidence?

  • no , it means we have the same great taste... we broght the t shirts on a sale or what ever...

  • and its not a coincidence?

  • history repeats it self

  • today we use science to explain seemingly unexplainable things...not the bible. Back in the times where they were not capable of using scientific methods to explain events they used god and wrote it in that sense, so using the bible as a straight source is nothing by a biased depiction of history. Honestly all it takes is a little bit of reasoning to look past the absurdity that is the bible. Religion is nothing but a polarizing club of bigots who think everyone is going to hell but them.

  • This is great reading the god sympathizers comments. They try to make reasonable arguments by saying well god would do this or god would do that as if they know exactly what god would of done. Your providing no proof at all just assumptions...thats were science comes in to straighten things out in a realistic way not in a fairy tale way that can be changed with personal opinion. "i mean god would do this of course your stupid to not think so". NO your stupid to not take the time to research.

  • Simcha, all ten "plagues" have been explained by natural causes. Thera (Santorini) erupted in 1650BC. The "Israelites" were not slaves, nor were the majority of Egyptian working class. They were servants (workers, laborers) who make bricks for the most part. They were native Egyptians for the most part. Some of that group (monotheists) were Hyksos and a sprinkling of other immigrants. Ay, the Egyptian Divine Father forced the monotheists out of Egypt.

  • Ok heres a problem the Thera eruption also known as the Santorini eruption. The date of the eruption of Thera was recently in 2007 narrowed to between 1627-1600 BCE, with a 95% probability of accuracy by radiocarbon analysis.

  • No I disagree.

Mircale is that what goes against the Law of Nature.

Supernatural event. Only can happen when God is working.

  • no matter how it happen the lord controlled it of course he would use the powers of the earth= what the earth has to offer, the gas leak = oh right is if he new it would be a gas leak, and why did it only killed the first born, the rest of the egyptains sleep in low beds why wasnt they killed?

  • kisss my teeth this is lies... bout gas leak..oh then i thought it was some bugs that were red... this is riddiculous! Well this video can't explain how timely events happened..hmmm is that coincidence? Why did this supposed earth quake and the crap scientific explanations happen before? What ignorance! Isn't also a contadiction that they accept the bible dates as chronologically true but then displace the events that took place in the bible?

  • Angry atheists? Did we watch teh same video? What the vid is saying is that the supernatural "miracles" relating to the Exodus are anything but miraculous and all have very nicely knit together scientific explanations. The claims many religious folks make regarding the Bible as a history text is false due to their claims usually depicting the real history as supernatural, which it clearly is not.

  • All that is clearly defined is your viewpoint. Giving the plagues and miracles a scientific explanation, as was said in the program, doesn't necessarily debunk God as an intercessor. In fact, that a chain of coincidences would come together in such short notice and in precise alignment to enable the Exodus to occur is harder to explain than the individual incidents themselves.

  • True this is like speaking to non religous sicentific types its explainging it in there language I mean why wouldnt god use nature its stupid to thik he wouldnt.

  • When will the angry little atheists just give up and accept the Bible as historically reliable?

  • Amo Israel means HIS people NOT gods people. They were called this because they worshipped SET thus they were SETANS, SATANS this is why the egyptians called them evil ones, they worshipped the egyptian SATAN

  • which bible are you using.........i rly wonder.

AMO ISRAEL...do you know what israel means bcuz it does mean people. its a name the jews got bcuz yakov fought an angel. in hebrew it means that yakov fought g-d. now already the name of the jews have EL in it so wat are you trying to prove that they are satans. like u actually believe in a devil cuz if your over 14 then that is rly sad

  • israel, by the biblical definition means "one who wrestled with God" "Am" means nation or people.

  • This is why Rev 2:9 and 3:9. They are not of Djehuti, Jehuti, Yehuti, Yehudi (Jews). They are a synagogue "gathering" of SET-ANS, SATANS.

  • god bless this world

  • Your wrong devil, the LORD lives!
