okay, unleashed is obviously better you guys, we already know that. but that's because 06 was unfinished. the story had gigantic holes in it, and there were flaws, but the music was miles ahead of unleashed, and if the game was finished and sega decided to fix all the bugs, then 06 could possibly be the next sonic adventure.

@lastblade3 Unleashed=Good, classic(Sonic style), catchy sounding tunes. Sonic '06=Loops that are ridiculously short and repeat very often. It's pretty much either you like something a guy put effort into or something a guy made very quickly.

@angeldemonjosh The classic's music was quite catchy, without sounding either overbearing or too intense. Unleashed follows this same suit. I consider it to be quite classical in that sense. Same goes with Colours. It's all opinion though so not like it honestly matters lol.

sonic '06 was AWESOME graphics and storyline but gameplay was crap unleashed i HATED THE WEREHOG but the graphics were good but less then '06 also the gameplay was awesome i LOVED the daytime leves but the werehog ones can suck my testicles :P lol XDD

I have to take Sonic '06. Unleashed was faster, but it just didn't fit for a match against Dark Gaia. Sonic '06 was just MADE to be epic. It's quite fitting since you're fighting the freaking SUN!

They were both GREAT games...and thats comin from me who has only a Wii so I couldnt own sonic '06...but i'd have to give it to '06. Endless Possibilities was a great song...but not for a final boss. HIs World was more able to sound intense. I loved it lol. I like how His World can be so many things. Intense, happy, sad. Everything. Great song

the reason why it took three of them is because Solaris needed to be destroyed in the past, present, and future. They fought Solaris in a big mesh of dimensions where the past to future all exist and occur simultaneously. They just needed the being of their respective times to defeat solaris. Shadow is of the past because the guy was in chriogenic sleep for 50 years when we first see him. Silver is from the future. Sonic exists naturally

In terms of music, I think they both win. 06's His world demonstrates power beyond the imagination at a time of near destruction (Solaris). Unleashed's Endless possibilities pushes Sonic's commitment to use his speed and strength to the ultimate even when his opponent is god-like (Gaia).

I like Unleashed better. I havent played Sonic 06 but from what i've seen and heard it was the worst 3D platformer in the series. I look forward to playing and buying it though if I get a 360 since I am a Sonic fan and i dont usually judge until I play it. But Sonic unleashed Final Boss music in my opinion beats this just because it brings me the feeling of SA2B Live and Learn when fighting the Biolizard.

I have Sonic unleashed for Wii though and i have to say it was great, thumbs up sega for it

Sonic 06 in my opinion had a better story but it sucked gameplay wise, unleashed trumped it though both in my opinion sucked. SOnic and the black knight was a great realease.The PS2 version of sonic unleashed was alright thought actually had seable graphics(the WII version to me also had blurry graphics and design) but sonic is dropped form the number 1 mascot to number 3. (Im going by poularity here kids know alot about sonic still, at the YMCA i work at kids love him)

i agree that unleash is better mostly due to how his world is already high paced but its more on edge so making it epic isnt so hard, but endless possibliesis always felt more laid back so you really had to put effort into turning that song into somthing so epic that it felt like the song was on roids

Unleasheds Final Boss song sounds too joyful for an epic final boss fight like Dark/Perfect Gaia.

Well, when you get right down to it, you ARE basically at the center on the Earth, fighting some huge half-serpent like creature as an epic Super Sonic.

But yeah, Solaris is more dramatic and intense. Only Perfect Dark Gaia's beginning sounds like that, but it's an awesome song all the way anyways.

I think I kind of like Perfect Dark Gaia better though since it's more upbeat.

solaris phase 2 feels like a more dramatic fight theme, which 06 was meant to be. Whilst hardcore sonic fans knew immediantly that it was Endless Possibilities when the song started and seems like a mixture of the new and old of sonic.
