yes I maybe nitpicking against the 6 second title of this video. but so what. Either way I thumbs up'd it because it showed what i wanted to see. Now I just have to choose WHICH brand Chromebook I want to get my fiance. cheers masakiishitani
8 seconds. I saw his finger ( AND HEARD the pressing sound ) hit the power button on the computer, which was at EXACTLY 0:07 in the video from the split second his log on page appeared which was AT EXACTLY the beginning of 0:15 seconds into the video. from 7 to 8 is one second, 8 to 9= 2, 9 to 10=3, 10 to 11=4th, 11 to 12=5th, 12 to 13=6th, 13 to 14=7th, and 14 to 15= the 8th second. There ya go people. either way it still MATCHES the advertised boot specs of less than 10 seconds to boot up
@hammyy434 no it was 6, you dont count from when you press the power button, you count from when the screen turns on, your measuring the os speed, not the speed of the bios and such
@DaBurntToaster what the hell? so basically ur saying that the other 2 seconds are non-existent and i dont have to wait for them? u make no sense... it took 8 seconds, i dont care when the screen turned on or not, it took 8 seconds.
@hammyy434 no matter what it takes time for a computer to post, during that time the hard drive isnt being accessed, the bios is, and the bios is different on all motherboards
@DaBurntToaster well if the bios takes different time to load on all comps, well so does the boot time from the os. the point is, you still have to wait those extra 2 seconds.
@DaBurntToaster ugh theres no point arguing with u. i can see it from ur point of view but thats only if your measuring the os booting. if ur doing the actual comp then id say include the bios cause u still have to wait for that.

@hammyy434 thats the fault of the motherboard, not the os, post time is different on all computers, in fact on mine it takes about 15 seconds
