  • It's amazing exactly how much of a delicate balance exists and how it is all tied together. I've thought more about the possible damage we are doing to the quality of food through genetic manipulation than organic matter depletion, but this definitely brings it into the light for me.

  • So I'm confused and want to know more. Here's my broad concept of what I know. To sum it up.

We remove fertilizers from an area high in organic compound. We then use fertilizers on another area that is depleted from over farming. By doing this we have depleted both areas. We harvest everything and return nothing to the soil.

  • Wonderful to see a rippowam grad involved in great work! Congrats, Woody, I plan to check your book out.

    Cheers to you,
