It's much easier to use a reflector as a sub weapon during the 2nd phase of battle against Orochi or True Orochi, so that you can block incoming balls of flame or head strikes.

Just to make it clear guys, Shiranui isn't actually superior to Amaterasu.

The only difference between them is that Shiranui was at full power and Amaterasu was weakened by her previous incarnation's death as explained by Issun in the beginning of the game, and people's lack of faith in the gods.

When Amaterasu retrieves her real strenght by the end of the game, she becomes as awesome.

@IntrospectIntellect I agree that popular =/= talented, but in the case of Let's Plays it's a matter of preference. I like Chugga's LP's, I don't like ProtonJon's. I like NintendoCapriSun's, and I like MasaeAnela's and neither of them are as popular as Chugga or Proton. "Talent" has nothing to do with LPing either, except when it comes to gameplay, other than that it's whether or not you find their commentary good.
