I'm fairly certain the "footprint" photo is a fake. There is no way all the details of a baby's foot could be seen by pressing against all the layers of tissue separating the baby from the outside world. Epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous fat, abdominal muscles, more fat, uterus & amniotic sac. Never mind that at 20 weeks, the baby weighs less than a lbf, but all these layers are 1 to 2 inches thick. This looks like a 40 week sized baby pushing against a 20 week sized belly as thin as a balloon.

It takes training in radiology to properly interpret them. The ones with the black background were obviously not taken in the womb and look like the ones done by Lennart Nilsson, who famously employed a great deal of "artistic licence" when photographing stillborns gussied up to look like fetuses.

The only way to truly prevent abortions from being wanted by people is through education. We need to education ourselves and each other. We need to inform everyone about sex and the outcomes. People need to know what really goes on in an abortion and the consequences of it that will not go away. By making abortion illegal you are risking SO many more lives. I had my daughter at 18 and raised her fine and am now expecting my 3rd at 30, it really comes down to the individual and their willingness to commit to the situation and weigh up the difference between need and want.

@chloetrinka There was a book written that I heard in a Christian interview by a Dr, and the name of the the book was "You're teaching my children WHAT?" I haven't read it yet, but sex ed is nothing compared to what it used to be. It is dirty and vile and really prepares them to go out and produce so that you will provide a contniual product for us to get rid of for a small fee, love planned parenthood. Tv shows have worked hard to make children appear as adults in sex based programs.

There was some young girl on 2 of the mags and she was a young unwed mom in some reality show with some other guy and they were talking on the cover about abuse in the realationship and so on. By making abortion illegal you are risking SO many more lives. Many of those women who would have gone and safely terminated their pregnancy in a medical environment (regardless of circumstances) would feel the need to terminate it themselves, which not only would "kill" the fetus, but would also put the mother's life at risk. If you don't agree with abortion, then you are entitled to your opinion, but don't be so dense as to suggest that making abortion unavailable would help anyone.

@ pal... If your mother had "chosen" to rid you, you wouldn't be in school. No matter the circumstances, a baby has been made and is a gift. If you don't want it, ok stay in school and give it up for adoption. Any other excuse after that just means your too vein and don't want people knowing your pregnant. After seeing her baby, she said she's very glad she hadn't. Today, we have a great relationship. So, personally? I'm glad my mother was 'forced' to have me. I guess, for every person bitter about being alive, there's someone (narrowly) here today, who are glad they are. (PS. No, I'm not religious. An athiest.)

I had my daughter at 18 and raised her fine and am now expecting my 3rd at 30, it really comes down to the individual and their willingness to commit to the situation and weigh up the difference between need and want.
On top of that instead of lobbying pro choice to teens it may be more effective to promote contraceptives and safe sex as abortion should not be a guilt free solution to pregnancy

@chloetrinka There was a book written that I heard in a Christian interview by a Dr, and the name of the the book was "You're teaching my children WHAT?" I haven't read it yet, but sex ed is nothing compared to what it used to be. It is dirty and vile and really prepares them to go out and produce so that you will provide a contniual product for us to get rid of for a small fee, love planned parenthood. Tv shows have worked hard to make children appear as adults in sex based programs.

There was some young girl on 2 of the mags and she was a young unwed mom in some reality show with some other guy and they were talking on the cover about abuse in the realationship and so on. Now sure what show or who thegirl was, but I remarked with disgust that this is a mere child who is being slpashed on magazine covers, where is the protection of the innocence?

I do not use the term fetus, bc it is so abused and it dehuminizes babies in the publics mind. Those nurses and doctors who are killing know 100 percent what they are doing. @john146only yes exacltly. one person complained that calling a feotus or embryo a baby was emotional propaganda. as if to say people who support life right from conception were blackmailing other people into caring about life inside the womb. so not only do these sad people live in this cold hard emotionless world but they think everyone else lives in it too.

@chloetrinka Yes, I have noticed that same thing, They usually either act like it is no big deal whatsoever, or they plead their case with hyper charged emotionism to the point where it is almost an unspoken "warning" to not challenge them on their position or ask any pertinent questions or anything, bc this isn't about the topic of abortion, this is about THEIR experience that validates their feelings and that is sacred ground. Have you experienced that too in conversations with them?

@chloetrinka I was talking with two women and they were both adiment that these were not babies, but one lady literally called them a 'parasite'. I was like okay, that is propaganda of someone who either has never taken a science class, or has never looked at the stages of real time 3 or 4 D ultrasound, bc those are babies. IN the beginning there are cells for a tiny bit, but that reality changes so fast. One day I went looking at abortion pics ; those were tiny human body parts: eyes, fingers..

@biancaebony i really agree. people these days are so spineless and unresponsible and selfish when it comes to children and pregnancy. i never once thought id abort a baby but i had good teachings about importance of life. im so tired of ppl trying to seperate sex and pregnancy and even being a woman with childbirth. how can you deny your own body? its like saying yea i have legs but i dont EVER WANT TO WALK cos its to difficult or not your thing or it cost to much money to buy shoes

I found out yesterday that I am going to be a Dad for the second time. My son is the world to me and now I get to live that experience twice as much.
At the moment I am the proudest Dad in the world and will do anything for my children....which begs the question!! How can anyone harm there own children or any children for that matter!! I cannot even comprehend it..................
