That car is probably ran on Speed Density, so I would assume it uses a MAP sensor (or bar readings) to determine Air Temp. It's quicker for the car to determine Air Temp. the Map is usually installed in the intake manifold.

It is what pilotboy said. It is on dyno hold at around 2500 to warm the motor up. The HKS turbos have the shroud around them to make them sound like that.

Its actually not on idle tennant909, its on a dyno hold, therefore engine/transmission are kept at a constant RPM. Useful in determining ramp up :) which in turn tunes launch control and acceleration fuel required :)

Garrett is the industry standard not HKS. Garrett makes turbos for every application including big rigs thats a true test of a turb big rigs idle at 1psi and log over 300k miles show me an HKS that can due that. There are alot of good turbos out there hell check out sound performance they make monster or JWT, but even they will tell you GARRETT is the root of the turbo world not just imports.

HKS Get Garrett to make the turbo then HKS add there own turbine & compressor wheel specs(reason for whistle sonund)and add all there fansy shit to it. And thats $10,000 for stainless exhaust, dump, gaskets, wastegate, turbo, oil & water feeds etc as far as i know
