just normal use of the clutch no wheel spin and no trouble with the pickup of the engine at 40km/h that will save you 1 second or so.

@queenzortje get the later one if ya can, its a 1.9 as opposed to the older 1.8 and has a bit more torque and a stronger engine that is easy as hell to work on if you want to tinker with it. I got my 1997 318is after getting rid of my impreza wrx and the bmw is by far the better car to drive. might not be the fastest in a straight line, but the fucker can corner like a bitch, especially if you drop it 30-40mm. the scooby just understeered you into hedges. plus it regularly does 45mpg on a run

tested my '96 318is with the PocketDyno aplication for iPod touch and it said i did 0-100km/h in 8.4s. car is absolutely stock, was runing on weard-out winter tyres 195's. that aplication is preaty acurate, but furthure testing will come to determine if its really that great.
