The Movies Game is fun, and I am thinking about getting the expansion, but what I wonder is how can you make custom movie ratings go above 2 stars? Every movie I make never exceeds two stars no matter how I try. Can anybody help me with this?

the only down side is that I had to train my stunts-man so I never had enough taraining places and it didnt let me put more than 3 differnt types. also I had to bring them to a hospital after injury and I had 2-3 people injured at the same time and there was only one hospital (and I couldnt build another) so I had trubles with my stunt-man so insted I played the sandbox mod

Also hire a star from another studio that comes to you and sell him/her right away - if you dont actually need him/her ofc :D

I just would love to be able to take only certain parts of any one scene and omit others like being able to shorten some of them or take the center of a scene. I think being able to cut pieces of scenes up would make it so you really could make anything.

Someone going in for a hug now could look like they are getting ready to strangle someone if you cut it right if we had this option.

Oddly, Im actually being offered this expansion for free from GAME, but that is because I have some loyalty points. I have MOVIES & it was okaaay but nothing to write home about. I found it disheartening that storylines meant nothing. Im wondering if this expansion will rekindle the flame with this old game. Problem is, if I go for this game, then I cant get some other mediocre title for free instead. I'm almost at the stage of tossing a coin. What do you think? Should I get it & why?

Ok this is for people who don't know where to buy this game... first you need to download steam. You can do this by going to google and type Steam Download. then click on Steam - Download and download from there. Ok when you've finished downloading steam you go into it and type the movies: stunts and effects. it should come up. the bad thing is that you have to pay $19.95 with credit card. The good thing is that you get $40 of the game using this method.

What I wonder is exactly HOW you would get the game to allow you to change the positions of the actors. The most you could do is have several pre-set positions for the scene to take place, but then most people will still think it's not enough.

no it is not hard to make movies, and if you make a movies with to example 5 clips it may take 10-50 minutes to make the movie, and 15-40 minutes to edit it to example put sound effects and text.

if you wanna play stunts and effects you need "the movies" and the movies premiere edition includes just the movies game and a starmaker tool whereyou can make your stars and put them into the game. and some extra clothers. (for the actors)
