it could fire alot faster if he mounted a slanted lego piece to where as the barrels slid by it pulled the lever back, it would reduce moving parts and greatly improve firing speed...jsut like the real ones

Firing speed could be faster- for the motor that pushes the cannon switches maybe chuck a few cogs together to increase speed, doing that would also decrease the strength of its push but that wouldnt matter. Please consider it.

The trigger motor is totally unnecessary. All you need is a small wheel in front of the triggers, to roll the triggers across. That way each time it revolves, one of the barrels fires automatically.

@PRIMEx420 good idea! like a wedge brick or somtin so when it turns the trigger would hit that. then you could have 1 motor and it could constantly turn.

@nerferfan a small wheel works better. one that can spin through freely, so that the triggers kind of... "roll" over it. it's much more gentle on the launcher triggers, not to mention causes much less vibration (the arch nemesis of lego:)) there's also a better way to mount the launchers onto that big wheel hub. also-also: what's better than a gattling gun? - a twin-gattling gun. :P

maybe when i get some more time, i'll put together a video of all the lego projects i've designed for work...

this is much less a gatling gun than a pepperbox revolver. A gatling gun would actually reload and arm each barrel once per revolution.

if you timed it right, made the triggers a little higher, and mod the "hitter" to become more like a windmill, you could continously shoot all 6 in rapid succession!

(make the "hitter" not move back after hitting the trigger, but have it go in a continous circle, so it'd be kinda like a bevel gear

the best method: a clip/row of bullets getting ready to be hit a a hard fast mechanisim firing through 4 different launch barrels (all 4 combined and rotating on a single axis

however, i bet you guys wont succed to accomcplish this with the most common stragetagies, you need to make your own, and make it HARD, so it hurts when it hits you
