I think Fanny Ardant was very good. I assume she has been forgiven for her political beliefs (regarding Italy) since she has been cast in this. The male protagonist is

lifeless unless he is interacting with other characters and even then conveys little personality. Nice views of Rome and gives some insight into Italian business.

I want to watch that film, too, but it's not available in Germany. Moreover I needed a french , german or english version because i don't understand the italian language.

XD...yes, i think you are right. The italian language is a wonderful one...if I read it I can understand some phrase, because I understand Latin.

I think I'll once try to learn it ;-)

But the most beautiful language - if you ask me- is french. Difficult bur amazing ;-)
