Canadians didn't vote for gay marriage. The courts instituted it. You jerk! Since when do we vote on people's rights? Those rights are protected by the courts - not the voters. The simple fact of the matter is that America does not want gay marriage. If California, the most liberal state in the whole country, voted yes on prop 8, then there is no way in hell the rest of the country would vote for gay marriage.

Also, marriage is a religious sacrament. Even though there is a separation between church and state, the idea of marriage in and of itself originated in the church.

The problem is that homosexuality isn't natural. There has been study after study, but no gay gene can be found, because there isnt one.
Why is this an issue? I'll explain. Since it isnt natural, it has the same credibility as poligamy, beastiality, incest, as well as many others.
Making gay marriage legal would no longer allow us to justify having those things illegal

Canadians didn't vote for gay marriage. The courts instituted it. You jerk! Since when do we vote on people's rights? Those rights are protected by the courts - not the voters. The only way we WILL have gay marriage in the United States is through the courts. That's the only way anyone else has achieved equality.
