  • I've owned my Synapse Alloy 6 since July of 2011 and have ridden it for more than 300 miles. I would attest that it does indeed smoothen out the ride from those road vibrations (of course except the bigger and deeper holes). Happy with it.

  • Interesting. If you look at the specs of synapse and super six from 2007 and 2008, there is very little difference in frame geometry. Seat tube angles are exactly the same.

So, really the only reason synapse has more upside riding position is because of upward stem angle and headset spacers setup.

  • The SAVE is Synapse Active Vibration Elimination. Which allows more rider comfort because it dampens the road conditions at some degree. This might actually loose efficiency during sprints.

The Six has a large chainstay which doesn't allow bends like the Synapse would.

The Synapse offers more BB30 in their bottom brackets. The Six only offers 2 models that have the BB30, but the Synapse has 5 models who offer BB30.

The Six models are just cheaper Super Sixes. Cheaper carbon material and etc.

  • Ahh. I got the Synapse.

    Should of gotten the Six....

  • i was looking at the 2 models, why do you say that you should have gone with the six?
