Como he comentado, soy una persona que le gusta escuchar varias versiones de una opera interpretadas por distintos cantantes, y varias arias intrepretadas en este caso por el Maestro Luciano Pavarotti, el final es algo que no lo vi en ninguna otra interpretacion, es cierto que tal vez toda la area en general la cante "mejor" si se quiere en otra epoca, pero tiene un color disntinto esta, tal vez es una opinion demasiada subjetiva la mia...Saludos!

aqui la voz excelente pro con el vibrto algo gastada peroe xcelente me extraña que el 94 estando tan delgado no hizo largo el si de vicnerón perod espués en el 96 y 98 muy largo en el 98 su voz tal evz por su operación a la columna lo hizoa delgazar y su voz casi ireconocible bien gastada pero con agudos, nole caia bien bajar de peso

Que bueno que alguien comento en español, sabes amigo yo soy un joven q canta opera y otros generos,y Luciano desd chico a sido 1 persona que me marco para siempre y sigue siend uno de mis grands modelos de cantantes e interpretes.Siguendo lo q habias cometado, si se nota que tiene la voz en general un poco gastada, pero te queria preguntar y a quienes quieran comentar, no te parecio impactante el Ce de Vincero? e vist muchos videos y este final tiene algo muy especial, m pone la piel d gallina

Che banda di ignoranti...mi chiedo come si possa denigrare una persona simile...non solo la miglior voce lirica mondiale (quando era nel fiore degli anni chiaramente, non scordiamo che l'età per un cantante lirico è importante come per un atleta, solo più lunga ) ma un vero e proprio galantuomo,

this is quite a statement:

yes he is quite old here, and yes he has sung better Nessun Dormas... but in this performance, he sings one part better than he ever did before (quite a statement):

the spring to the high B at the end. he attacks it in a more intense and dramatic way than he ever did before or after. usually he swooped into the note a bit, here he was much more direct, and I really enjoyed that. :-)

I thought the same about the ending. The only other recording I've seen where he approaches the last note similarly is the 1988 recording at the Met with Levine (available on YT)

I was there! It was the only time I ever saw and heard Pavarotti live.

At first I was afraid the concert might be cancelled because of the rain but fortunately it wasn't. The rain even turned out to be helpful because it cleared up the air. It wasn't cold that evening.

So the temperature was okay and without any dust in the air these three voices came out polished like gold!!

Thank you for posting, I will never forget this evening.
