i would say saudi is better off with king abdullah. i use to think when they are going to end the monarchy but i cant think of any person befitting his throne. let us not instill our standards on them. though i will say that saudi needs to improve in terms of giving rights to women and rip off the mutawas who rob people of their rights. basically those are just the two things, the rest are fine, Muslims are good people there are some who deviates but not all of them are.

ive worked in saudi arabia.. i know the royals may not be all perfect but they have done good things to the country. saudi has progressed to what it is today though not as what western countries can expect. there had been changes and the people are now motivated to work and study with education programs that they are offering. saudi will develop in time and let us give them that time. let us not judge by what we hear in the news alone. there are lots of good things as well.
