This is one of my favorite songs from what is fast becoming my favorite band. The new record, "Burning the Days" is truly incredible from start to finish. i love how they can do great ballads and intense rock songs. Something for every mood. Even though this song is incredibly sad, it is also very hopeful.

@secretlove47 one of my best friends was killed in a motorcycle wreck nearly four years ago now. he was only 20 years old. one of our other friends sang this song at the funeral. i've only recently been able to get through this version of the song without crying but that doesn't stop me from thinking about him. i'll never forget him and i probably won't ever completely let go. but this song is a good reminder of what he meant to everyone he was close to.
