I don't want to make snap judgments, but as an Englishman almost every time I see American News TV Shows the anchors are always shouting, and usually intensely bias. Do you have any impartial, intellectual News Channels?

Having said that, I read a lot of news articles from England and watch clips of English news talk shows. I never really see them shouting over anyone but most of them seem pretty intensely bias.

Hitchens owns Matthews and shows Matthews not as an objective journalist, but a cheerleader for Obama (but most of us knew that already). @mrgejwaites impartial, intellectual news channels? No. But there are a few individuals. Chris Wallace on Fox is really impartial. He doesn't shout and he doesn't let anyone off the hook. Having said that, I read a lot of news articles from England and watch clips of English news talk shows. I never really see them shouting over anyone but most of them seem pretty intensely bias.

Bill O'Reilly has been known to do it on occassion, but it's rare. Also, intellectuals generally don't appear on these kinds of programs anyway. They write and lecture. These shows are beneath them. The finest political minds in America avoid these shows like the plague.
