The actress who plays Willow is China Kantner. In her acting career, she lost several roles because directors assumed that she's more of the musical type because she has 2 well-known musicians for parents, Paul Kanter and Grace Slick. She says that she has no musical aspirations of her own and claims that she can't sing very well.

It was last heard that China Kanter had stopped acting and was working on getting a Ph.D in Art History so she could go teach it in Europe.
