snipers aways piss me off on this map. 2Fort isnt the best map for Scout since its full front on combat. The Scout is mostly for going behind people and killing them or just jumping around so classes like the demoman,soldier, or heavy cant kill you. Pyro will become easy to kill after a while. NEVER USE SANDMAN

The Scout is an offensive class. You're supposed to go rush into combat and use your speed to your advantage to avoid enemy fire, not gank them.

yes and no, the scout is offensive, and your right about the speed, but the scout is a cleaner, you dont go head first. While you can go head first, unless your playing against baddies its no going to be nearly as succesful as intelligent flanking after letting your team mates grind out some damage. Comp play speaking, who cares about pub.

To whit - sometimes tying up an opponent is enough to help your team, even if you die doing it. But yeah, it would have been BETTER if you had killed those snipers. :-)

My thought - even if you died a ton, you still occupied the sniper from doing his job (sniping) for a bit, thus potentially helping your team. In TF2, dying is just a matter of course, but sometimes dying can help your team. As a Heavy, I'll sometimes soak a few more bullets to give the scout an opportunity to cap, or to give the spy an opportunity to get a good backstab position. The TEAM in TF2 is important, and sometimes you have to take one for the team to get anywhere.
