I was so taken with the song that I wrote the lyrics down about 35 years ago (Yikes!) but failed to note the chords of the music and had since forgotten it. Delighted to have found it all in one piece again. Thanks.
A great song! It'll be a day in music heaven when Capitol Records sees fit to reissue all of the Stone Poneys recordings on cd! Long overdue to compact disc as I think the Poneys recordings have some of Linda's finest vocals ever. 2 songs I loved were "Just A Little Bit of Rain"... and "Wings".
All of the Stone Poneys' recordings, as well as Hand Sown Home Grown / Silk Purse, Linda's first 2 solo albums, have been available on CD on Raven Records an Australian label. You can order them on Amazon.com
Cool! I have all her LP's except the Stone Poneys ones. All CD's too. Have the Canciones DVD and the Johnny Cash DVD she's on. Have the FM DVD she sings on. Watched the Pirates of Penzance DVD.
