Oh, Robin Hood to the bone. Always nice with classic tales-inspiration. This WoW-movie seems to be very different; it's finally not about the EPIC tale of WoW, but just this one place. Makes the world of Warcraft seem more bigger and realistic.

Okey now, it seems like I'm taking too seriously maybe? :P But hey, this guy worked their asses to make this movie, so why not. :)

It is indeed based upon real events or rather a local legend around the places where I live. My grandmother used to tell me the story of a brave peasant that stood up against an oppresive lord that ruled over the region in mid-Jutland, Denmark. I just took it and built up a lot of background, story and characters and placed it in a different setting :)
