Hi Klep! God bless you for sharing this 1981 classic. This is indeed a happy song and, in fact, the best mix of it. As you know, there is an earlier version of this in Gino's 1980 S Beat album which to me is somewhat similar yet in a weird kind o' way. Sorry I can't find the right adjective to describe the earlier version, but i like it too.  In fact, I just downloaded it. (8pm 2/23/10)
