we have had great singing superstars, grand divas, excellent singers, from Nora Aunor to Regine Velazquez, from Leah Salonga to Charice Pempengo, (and many more; I enjoy listening to all of them) and with all due respect to all these superb singers, in my personal opinion, KUh is still the best voice the Phil has ever had. Years may come and go but that unique velvety voice will live forever.

We watched divas 4 divas in va. After the concert. Isa lang ang opinyon namin: Voice clarity and showmanship si Kuh ang the best! ung iba puro pa cute na lang at tili!
A classy, genuinely Filipina singer who's her own person with her own style and unique vocal, never tried to imitate any US artists, and she's best when singing the songs in Tagalog. I appreciate her even more today, after having spent a couple of decades away from 'pinas - she sounds as good as ever! And I still love this first hit of hers today!
Lucky you to have seen her live in that concert! I do think Kuh is the only major female singer in Pinas with a beautiful, flexible, actual SINGING voice that moves listeners as few others can.
i saw this concert at the PICC in November 19, 2005. i was at the 5th row if i remember it right. the GEORGE CANSECO tribute led by KUH was one of the best concert of KUH in her more than 25 years in the business. i wish they have released it in DVD.
this pleasantly reminds me of my grandpa taking care of me when I was young and him playing... wait for it... vinyl. It was his way combating country music ( Crystal Gale) back in the 80's. :)

Kuh sounds ethereal and magnificent... not one among the screaming banshees from the young generation can defeat this woman's artistry and vocal quality...

Oh, my God!! Brings memories!!! This is the song I sang in "Bagong Kampiyon" when I beat the champion. Didn't make it to finals, though.
