version motor now too. This is really the best value in an actual butt-kicking scooter out there...and at $425...it is such a deal

It's lithium-powered 1KW brother costs more than twice as much..

I love how the Chinese put 'Turbo' and 'special' on everything. Add about 6K more watts and you'll have something. Gas is a blast and electricity sucks (at least for now).

You might have a change of opinion. That's about 1.3HP with full torque off

the line. No rev-up of the weed-eater to make it GO..no blue smoke...It

always starts...they used to say "The Horse will never die".."the internet is a fad"..

now they say "There will always be enough oil". Probably not.

Depends on your city. Here in the National Park, you are restricted to

the bike lanes. In a downtown metro area.. you can noodle around just fine in slow traffic.

- I tried many bikes like Stromer and A2B but they have really bad performanceand $2800 is tooo much !! compared with the Busettii bikes made in the USA. The Big 50 Mile Bike by Busettii that I have will go over 50 miles on a charge but still has more torque and speed than these over priced bikes I tried. Busettii's are about $1800 and also made in USA. Can cruise at 27 mph thanks guys, Rainbow

Well, this scooter does not have a free-roll gear in back.

Thar said, it coasts with almost no drag.

I was concerned about this and it is not a problem with this scooter.

I use to have a petrol scooter and the one thing that killed it for me was it didnt free roll like a push bike does for example.

So if you are going down a hill for example do these things just roll when you are not giving it throttle?

Strictly the cost and as you said, Lithium batteries are becoming cheaper and cheaper. What sells for $65 here (in RC Lithium batts.) can be gotten for $8 direct from Hong Kong now. If you just retro-fit Lithium batts in the 800, you'd drop half the battery weight and have much better performance. Plus, the 800 hauls. I have a top-o-the-line 600W scooter that costs $650 and it isn't half as fast as this. Yea I told Chris that custom decks would be a huge seller. My next one is gonna be killer!

So what was it that made you go for the 800 over the 1000 watt Lithium? I'm having that debate now. It doesn't seem worth the extra $520. It seems like by the time the SLA batteries go bad the lithium batteries will be much cheaper and have better capacity. I love the custom board! You should sell them!

We sell a 36v20ah lithium battery for the 800. If you go full speed you will get very close or even over 30 miles on a single charge even further if you go slower. The lithium battery configured for the 1000 is 48v12ah. Its battery helps push the top speed up to 31mph but at a sacrifice of my lower distance. If you go full speed on the 1000watt scooter you'll only get between 10-15miles on a single charge. If you go slower you can get a max of 22miles on a charge.

@SuperScooters1 Cool. Good to know. Found it under accessories. I thought it would be under the 800 parts. Too bad battery prices are still fairly high. You save money on gas with these things but then a quality battery makes it about even.
