firstly that was their first lead singer and that was about by their first few cd's then Ville Lahia joined as lead vocal, that is who this is. the band broke up after the funeral cd, due to drama between the drummer and someone else in the band....then ville lahia joined poison black and is now touring they came to colorado springs as of recent,

1) The reason Sentenced quit was two-fold: first, the touring began to take it's toll on the guys, who were heavy drinkers and honestly didn't enjoy it that much. The gigs they loved, but those were a small piece of what goes into being on a tour and they grew tired of it all. And of course, as they became more popular (after Down and Frozen), it all just grew bigger.

1) Sentenced grew tired of the life on tour, while they loved the gigs, they hated everything else that goes into being on tour and decided that if they're not giving it 100%, they're not doing it. Most already had families.

2) While they quit in 2005, Miikka Tenkula died because of his heart-condition in 2009. It's been admitted that all the touring and the famous heavy-drinking of the band took it's toll on him too.

Also, Ville founded Poisonblack before Sentenced quit, but took over the vocals after Sentenced had been buried.

If you want to see why Sentenced quit, just watch the music video of "Ever-Frost". It's stated quite clearly what it was they didn't want to see happening, ever.
