It is so pathetic when classical musicians try to play and interpret baroque (or any "old" music) music. I wonder why do you do this. You've no idea how this music should sound etc. SHAME

I thought it was a particular night though... if not a peculiar type of night. I gathered it was meant to be one of these nights full of ghosts and spirits, you know ...?! well, at any rate , it was the way I listened to it. Being neither a musician nor even a musical kind of person, it's 's also the way I FELT about it,hearing it ,but I may have been wrong . Apologies .

Incidentally, why has music got to be derogatory qualified as a "race" as soon as it is interpreted in a dynamic way?

esta hermosa!, realmente se siente la magia de la noche en cada nota, aun con todo y el error de ejecucion

en la flauta durante 4 segundos, y es que no cualquiera puede

tocar eso porque es muy dificil, ademas

el error es casi imperceptible para la

mayoria, solo los que conocen bien la cancion lo detectan por eso no hay problema.

Ciao FlautistaBarocco, mi piacerebbe capire meglio la tua opinione, se potessi spiegarmela. Tra l'altro, sono ormai così a digiuno di musica barocca che non capisco se il flauto è accordato alla moderna (La = 440 Hz) o all'uso del tempo di Vivaldi. Infine, non credi che un flauto in legno avrebbe donato all'eufonia dell'esecuzione? (tralasciando l'infima qualità delle casse con cui ascolto YT...) ;-)

io, più che soffermarmi sul flauto o l'accordatura, discuterei della freddezza dell'esecuzione... oltretutto lentissima! Fin'ora non ho sentito nessuna registrazione migliore di quella del giardino armonico, e lì, a parte il recorder e gli strumenti dell'epoca, cambia il carattere!

Of course, you can play Vivaldi using modern instruments. I only say that it´s better doing it with on periods instruments. I didn´t try to offend you.

I have been Vivaldi's fan all my live. The great thing about this particular peformance is the treatmnt of time. There is not running or fast viruosity, so the music becomes fantastic, the great barroq majesty and beauty is recover

I expected nothing less, as I simply adored the same orchestra play Vivaldi's Winter with Maki Itoi. This is another phenomenal performance from the Vienna Philharmonic women's orchestra. I thank you for uploading these two very good pieces that I have seen so far from them.
