What a find...

...and at the time "rock culture" was still somewhat out of the Mainstream, so Clapton was, amazingly, still the least well-known of the three, even after Cream and Blind Faith, and his solo LP.

Considering that, at the time, Cash was still considered a C&W artist what an amazingly cool show the "Johnny Cash Show" was.

I'd be nervous too if I was on stage with Johnny Cash & Carl Perkins! Clapton was kind of a "new kid in town" at this time. Now HE is a legend too!

@cogwell Yes you have to remember Clapton was very long at this time and he's on stage with one of his idols, Carl Perkins. I have seen video of him playing with Perkins about 10 years later and he didn't seem nervous.
