Hey guys just checking out youtube for some rhythm ideas and came across you(What a surprize). I was actually asked to do a 'didgeover' for the trippy scene in a production of Hair.
I am the guy who bought that didge from you at Earthdance. You remember my son said 'no time for didgeridoos'?
thanks dragonflyrhythms. I have recently discovered ondrej smeykal and he seems to have also adopted a very percussive style of playing. I reccommend getting his cd!
Cool! I really like Ondrej.. You should check out Dubravko Lapaine stuff too. He has a very purcussive style. Check out the video link above when you get a sec.
Lindsey... love ya man.. I was so stoked to see you on youtube. This is Karl witha K. Since I've found your spots, Ive been playing my didge with them half the day.
Hey didgeHague. Thanks for the shout out. I try to challenge my playing style by listening to other percussive rhythms and then applying them to my own rhythmic breath work. The end of this piece is based off traditional afro-Caribbean rhythms that I like to listen to.
Is the cricket part of your group? At times it seemed like it was on beat...
