  • i like ur old vids girls.. look humble

  • can we do the masala and then pressure cook the rajma along with the masala?

  • @kbkushalutube : Yes, you can. It will have a different flavor (still good) but be careful, the masala is prone to burning in the pressure cooker. Add enough water for the gravy to avoid that issue.

  • This recipe looks yummy..

  • you guys didnt add Cumin Powder but have included it in your Ingredients list????

  • NIce one ... It would be nice if u guyz can be more audible ... thanks !

  • @dhandpk

This is one of our earlier videos. We have since acquired better sound equipment so our newer videos should be better.

  • Thank you Anuja and Hetal.

  • Thanks Hetal and Anuja aunty. This is really helpful for students like me. I was wondering if I could just boil the Rajma in a pot because I don;t have a cooker. Thanks!

  • @kbkushalutube : Kindney Beans/Rajma can be done on the stove top but make sure you soak the Rajma long enough AND it will take a lot longer to cook. You will also need to keep adding additional water as needed as you cook.

  • @kbkushalutube cook it in a slow cooker. Just plan in advance.

  • @kbkushalutube Aunty!!!!!

  • Once again ShowMeTheCurry Has done it again.

What a wonderful meal. Thank you so much.

    Delicious would be an understatement.

  • This is a 2 stage recipe. Can one not put all the ingredients in the pressure cooker and cook it like your one stage dal makhani recipe ?

  • technically you can do the seasoning first and then add the soaked rajma and pressure cook the whole thing but the taste will be slightly different not bad though!

  • how much time do i need to pressure cook rajma?

  • 3 whistles and lower flame and cook for another 30 min.

    :D

  • i really love rajma chawal.. so much

  • I really love this recipe.rajma imy all time fav......

  • hey can we put rajma directly to cooker with some soda n then boil them to tender one,,,,,,will this workkkkk

  • Some people use soda but we feel that it alters the taste. It is better to soak them.

  • no you cant

  • I saw the video twice but I did not see when cumin powder need to be added. I guess it would be at the same time when coriander powder was added.

  • Is it okay to use 2 cans of canned kidney beans?? Would it taste the same or different?

  • Yes, you can use canned kidney beans but don't cook for as long as the recipe says -- maybe for just one whistle to incorporate all the flavors. Be sure to rinse the beans well (from the can) and then add additional water to the cooker. The taste of canned beans is slightly different but they work great when you're in a time crunch.

  • I made this at home and we all love it. Thank you so much

  • yummy mmm very nice

  • This is awesome! We need such recipes staying away from our homes! Thanks for posting this.

    Showmethecurry rocks!

  • I am a college student who doesnt really know how to cook. I had a can of beans lying around and I found your site, followed the recipe and loved it!! Thanks so much =)

  • I don't care about the accent, they put on good show and their recipes actually work

  • Antees rock! thanks, it tastes really good.!!!

  • good curry but why the lady in black trying to change her accent? its funny

  • She isn't changing her accent, she is probably born and brought up in US.

  • i love rajma
