I have a goldfish comparable to that size and a 30 gallon. I got a penguin 330 dual filter running on it but the water turns white in like one day. How do you keep your water so clean?

Do comets get as big as the standard/regular strain? I have a comet and he's about 9inches now, but I'm gonna put him in with my koi in their pond. Heard they grow faster and better in ponds.

@66SiK Comets normally do not grow as big as the regular goldfishes in term of their bodies wise.  Comets and goldfishes should do good outdoor. They can handle the cold weather better than the kois.

@hammies4ever Ahh ...What kind of goldfish you ordered? Fancy goldfish? Can you just go to the pet shop and get them? My goldfish are those non-fancy types. Someone told me those fishes can live for 40 years. They are big eaters. I have to clean the fish tank one a week.
