  • aiiight now ronnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this song, Gotta admit, I had no idea that the Skatt Bros were white.

  • i rember me & ron hardy playin this @326 Michigan ave underground i was on lights & every body was likehot &horny off this for some reason! those 1980s i miss those days

  • both the bent boys and the skatt bros versions are great..but the prime cuts mix of the latter is the best..trying to find it again..

  • one person gets a cab at night.....

  • I get the feeling that that song is evil

  • BTW thank you for posting this it's a blast from the pass!

  • does anyone know in which movie i listened this song?

  • Just had a look on itunes you can buy the 5.22 min version for $1.69aust

  • What a cool song remember it from my high school days & yes its expensive to buy if you can find it. Wish I got it when it was $5.00AUST.

  • I love this song so much. It is so incredibly dark for a Disco song. I was wondering if you know of any other 70's/early 80's Disco that was this dark? I know plenty of Italo/New Wave/Post-Punk/etc but I'm specifically looking for obscure Disco tracks in this style. Thanks!

  • @VernianProcess Karen Finley "Tales of Taboo" is dark, nasty with a good beat.

  • @StaunchComic Awesome! Thanks for the tip.. this is sweet. It reminds me of Anne Clark a bit.

  • Oh I forgot about this!! Bang that shit Ron!!!

  • Oh what great memories The Skatt Bros brings back from many different clubs I frequented.

Even all the clubs I DJed for & guest spots I did.

Toronto was my longest period for DJing at one huge club for nearly 15 years & I used to play this frequently. It always packed the dancefloor! :-) Same for "Life at the "Outpost" :-)

    Sincerely,

    David (esacnitsuj1)

  • Thanks for the input 'turloydstew'. Didn't realize that. Yet they both sound so similar. Regardless they're both hot, thanks again. Peace!

  • Love this jam. What I don't understand is, I have the original 12 ' vinyl, but it says by 'The Bent Boys' which is approx. 6 minutes and 51 seconds long. Yet it sounds exactly the same from 'The Skatt Bros.'.. input anyone? Thanks for the post!

  • @cmusses Hi the bent boys version is a cover of this original version. The skatt bros released this in 1979 the bent boys cover version (produced by John Brenner was released on a canadian label in 1984)The original is very rare and can fetch up to £50-60.

  • @turloydstew If u liston closely to the bent boys version there is a differance between the 2

  • @cmusses i have it in mp3 and it´s 6:51 too, this one is pitched up, so is shorter as the speed is faster...

  • As a native New Yorker and DJ who grew up on the influences local to me (The Paradise Garage, The Loft, etc...), even I know that there is no way in hell you cannot mention Ron Hardy. My only regret during that time was not going to Chicago to hear Ron at The Warehouse. RIP Ron, you're never forgotten.
