Here's my problem Mr. Tillman. OSU doesn't care at all what happens to OU and how much media attention they get and how little OSU gets. Everyone in the state is aware of who owns The Oklahoman. It's not a step-child syndrome or whatever you phrased it as. It was a hell of a coach, who actually cares, and gave his opinion on what he thought was right. Why is it wrong of him to do that? He gave his opinion just like columnists do. The only difference? He was on camera.

God i hate the media. Notice the words, " percieved inacuracies" in this piece, and how they state there will be such a negative respense to the tirade. Funny how most of the negative response to this has been to the media trying to spin it to protect another jurno. Gundy did what he did, and three years later is still the head coach. Where are these guys today?

Mike Gundy said that the kids are amateur athletes and that's true. Not that many of them make to the NFL. He had every right to lose it.

I hate the argument they use: "She's a columnist. She's just stating her opinion." So you're allowed to spew lies about events that didn't occur as long as you're a columnist? I call BS here. Gundy said she had her facts wrong. You can't counter that with "Well, it was her opinion." Facts are facts, and lies are lies. If I say 2 + 2 = 6, and you tell me I'm wrong, I can't counter with "Well, that's my opinion" without being laughed at. Same with this sorry "columnist."

Never heard of either of these two CBS guys but I disagree with both of them. I think it's great that media gets called out. Why media thinks they can say whatever they want about players and coaches, yet remain untouchable is strange. Good for coach. I wish more players, coaches and team owners would step up and grade these media personalities like they are graded by media.

Nothing "unfair".

Gundy made a buffoon of himself and absolutely humiliated his player Bobby Reid. Oh, and he also made the reporter famous.

Reid STILL hasn't live this down.

Gundy's lucky that Reid didn't beat his head in with a tire iron.

Seems odd to me that the media can do the equivalent of yelling at coaches and players in print. But when it is turned around, it's not OK.
