I was told by my boxing coach that when connecting a punch the most powerful is when all your knuckles hit flat against your target....or was that more for the protection of kinking your wrist? Please let me know what you think, I find this interesting because both methods seem to make sense.

with just the 2 knuckles the vid described your punch will be more powerfull because your hitting the other with the same power but less area wich will hurt more. hitting with all knuckles will reduce the punch but also the risk of damage to your wrist. for boxing, the safer way is better wich is why your coach told you that. in a serious situation you can better use the other way. either way will be very effective tho if your aim is good x)
