for people who have trouble with audio in wax, convert the video to avi, then copy the vid. convert the copied video to wav audio only and code them (eg: vid001+aud001) import them both
Thank you so much! This was just what I was looking for! I read somewhere that Rotomating was also known as masking, which was confusing. This cleared it up.
@rockbandpro does the RENDERED video come out bad, or just the preview? The preview will become choppy after enough FX are added. But the final .avi file will be perfectly fine.
But if it's the .avi file that's messed up, then I can't help you. Sorry man.
@theundeadhawk123 after you have added the video and the audio in the timeline stretch the clip then it will. if you dont get what i mant watch grannygoddy's tutorial Tutorial: The Wax Video Editor - Lesson 1
thanks for the video. though i really wanna make cool videos with my still pictures.
and just wondering, how do you get the effects to be gradual and show in the video. like making an image in a video gradually move to the left or something. this is what stumps me.
when i used movie maker i used wax and then put everythign together in movie maker. If you mean how do you save it as avi then you right click on the timeline and click project settings and then where it says soemthign like video. avi click the 3 dots next to it an fidn where you want to save it. but when you choose the fiel name you must put .avi on the end or it will not work. then click the green arrow at the top to render.
You put this together in Videoshow Expressions? I can tell by the narrirating text.

How can you choose where a superimposed image goes on the screen? I can't seem to mask it or move it.

Good job! I switched to Wax from Windows Movie Maker because it keeps crashing. How do you finish the movie and view it on the avi player?
