See one interesting thing... The MAN - Keanu Reeves - was getting out of the temptation of vanity, but he gets in by her lady's words. The WOMAN makes a mistake, and the MAN comes down. This ending is genius because turns to the story of Adam and Eve, the first apearance of the devil in the holy bible.

@Madamina171 It makes no reference to a devil in genesis; it mentions a serpent and nothing more. we're led to believe its a devil based on what we're told as kids. but theres no incontrovertible evidence in which to prove if it was or not.

but i do see what you mean about the film's conclusion though; whether it was intended that way or a simple coincidence. its a really clever concept

@shiasgirl4ever1987 It's a SciFi 'time loop' episode Al keeps at it & at it until he gets it right. This might've been the 1st, 20th or 100th loop. He doesn't win, no big deal, just wind the clock back and try again. Betcha Connie's character had to go thru a few replays before he won her over.

@rhettrongun Devil's Advocate & Angel Heart are WAY too underrated. Rourke & DeNiro in Angel Heart and Pacino & Reeves in Devil's Advocate are some really great perfomances. Can't believe no noms for this picture. I hoped that Pacino, Reeves & Charlize would've gotten an nomination or something. The suicide scene should've gotten KR or CT some nod, even if they didn't win.

How Rourke didn't get an Oscar nod for Angel Heart is beyond me, did you see his intensity near the end of the movie?
