Hello , Many Thanks For This Beautifull Video From The Motorcycle Of My Childness Dreams !!! I'm 48 Now But The Dream Is Still Alive In my Head !!! Roland From Switzerland
Nice example of a clean stock Z1B!sorry I know thiswill upset the purests but I prefer them nonstandard!I've got one built by debben,it's bored to 1075 and the engine alone cost 6-6500 grandits got all the trimmings ,no indicators,no ugly rear mudguard, slabyokes, dragbars, hand made box section swingingarm the lot!stands me in just over 12 grand.140-50BHP,PURE ZED POWER,YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH THAT!I can appreciate a standard one too!and this IS immaculate!nice
got one in me garage right now. It's just knockout. not as clean as this one but all there and showing the patina of 35 years. I love it.. the worst thing about ownership in the uk is that pretty soon now I'm gonna have to wrap it up for winter. still i can get the ke175 out for winter and smoke my way to work in the morning.
How did you get one with 10 miles on it? In my opinion it is the best bike ever I had the exact bike and color with a Frank Frazetta picture on the tank. I hate I sold it.
I went and sold mine like an idiot,oh well cant take it with ya when you go.You got that thing slicked out better than a showroom bike, nice job for sure.Dual discs up front, nice touch.I modified one of mine with Gixxer single shock and USD forks and it would stop on a dime then.It was before youtube or i would have posted it.
Stunning performance, drop-dead gorgeous looks and legendary Japanese reliability and longetivity. What more could you possibly want? No wonder these bikes were so popular. I want one bad... @bremsstrahlung19 - that's an amazing example, looks great in that colour, congrats!
This thing is a masterpiece, did you do the work yourself? i want to start a project like this myself but Z1's are rarer than rockin horse shit in Ireland.
@davidkenedy As you say they are rare, plus it will cost you even for a box of bits. The engine and frame were bought in from the states with the serial numbers placing it as a 1975 Z1B, it's now UK registered on a 1975 N plate.
Thanks - bike was running a little lumpy on idle as mixture was much to rich on 1 and 4 cyclinders. I hope to re-tune this spring and will do another vid.
