  • Great song and message. I listen to christian radio at bedtime every night and leave it on!

  • This song is not done by Vineyard music...it's done by Matt Redman of Passion

  • Its gonna be all right. One day it is gonna be all right

  • AMEN!

  • BEST!

  • @GahdeMalprigi1488x So much misinformation and a plethora of ignorant statements make up just another failure in the list of attempts to discredit the validity of Scripture. I respect your right to believe what you wish, but please don't post this stuff in the comment section of a worship video.

  • can someone give me link or send me picture on 1:18 ?

  • Comment removed

  • Waoo!! Gracias Señor porque desde que ví la película de Soul Surfer, me encanto esta canción!! Muy lindaaaaa!!!....BLESSE BE THE NAME!!! Wujuu Aleluyaaaa! ;)

Desde Puerto Rico, muchas bendiciones a TODOS!

  • Ultimately the Christians ''JESUS'' is going to fail miserably........And the truth son of God the Lord will rise eternally.

  • super, super,super

  • @Ginny202 I think its foolish to post that prayer, knowing that Vahtecen would indeed see it, simply because he is obviously already closed to the idea of our religion...it will only anger him more and create an even harder head... if you REALLY did care about his growth in faith, it would be wiser to say such a prayer alone, otherwise it makes you look like your saying it out of frustration, and just makes you look like a bad example of a christian.

  • @katelyndu1 I think the last line was a little harsh but I agree with everything else you said :-)

  • uh...who were the22

  • im not religious i just like the song

  • @bulldoglikeaproach That is close enough. Jesus works His Way through those who listen to His music and the church shall be restored.

  • @Bloodshotistic yeah i dont rule religion out im just not sure

  • Blessed be your Name, you totally be are the best ever, love you Jesus and I love God.....May all you ,You_tuber be blessed, may all the prayers come true, May he who blessed Man continue blessing you forever and ever and may he continue protecting now and forever

  • Love this

  • Heavenly father, would you please give Vahtacen the proof he needs to believe in you. Holy Spirit, please bless him right now and show him, and draw him into your life. Father, please bless this son of yours and let him be born again into new life with you. I ask this in the name of Jesus.

  • @Ginny202 "Didn't I tell you that if you believe, you will see the Glory of God". John 11:40

This is the verse that helped my Dad stop his 30 years of smoking, as well as the Holy Spirit. Praise be to the Glory of the Lord. I shall keep you in my prayers.

  • By the way what is ur EVIDENCE, as u choose to call it for the non existence of our LORD?

  • science is not everything! can u imagine at how science reasons out ...at the complexity in molecular level??? EVOLUTION! WHY? for the simple reason that it is beyond scientist realm of comprehension!!

come on ...check out how DNA works plzz....it is not an accident!! some body out there has engineered it.....Supernatural power!

So many acknowledge of its existence but use different names to call it..but i choose to call it GOD!

  • so why dont u ask our lord for some thing or talk to him the way u r talking here...he will answer u....like ask him if he will make some thing happen to make u believe of his existence...tonight...u will definitely be scared and shocked at how close he is.

  • OMG! please don't insult our lord...he is a true GOD. so many people in the ancient times were also skeptical about our GOD and were eager to know if he really does exist.....and u know what he proved to them one way or another that he truly does exists.

  • God loves us all

  • "Praise God!"

  • People love to blame the Father, for the sins and neglect of His children... in a physical society, no one would do that. If a dad tells his son how to live well, and the son ignores his father and commits a crime, it is the son's fault. Not the father's fault. People think they are gods, so they naturally think they can "understand" a literal God.

Lord, bless these people, and bring Your lost home.

  • LOL!! God is just a delusion dreamed up by people to make up for their sense of insecurity. Instead of attributing everything to the notoriously psychopathic fairy in the sky, why don't you make something of your lives. Spend the time you use praying to do charity work or something actually useful. And even if God was real, why anyone would want to worship that racist, sexist, infanticidal, genocidal insane lunatic in the sky that made everything in existence that is bad, is beyond me.

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 Because helping people makes people feel good, that's why. Because people are compassionate, not because of a fairy no one can prove exists, but because humans can love, they can care. Atheism is not depressing and hopeless, as an atheist I feel it's my duty to show my love for people, to help the Earth and those less fortunate because this is the only life I have. I am not eternal, and I feel that i must do what I can to make a difference.

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 Because a community of humans functions more successfully if they all help each other and work together than if they were all selfish. And that's why communities in which the people were compassionate survived and prospered, the communities where everyone was selfish suffered, and evolution took root again and led to a more compassionate society. Also, we are social animals, and if you look at other animals as social as us, you find that anti-social animals are ostracized.

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 Not really. And might I point out the massive levels of hate and bigotry within Christianity in regards to race, gender and sexual orientation.

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 What about the par tin the bible saying a man should not lie with another man? That hate?

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 What about the Westborough Bastist Church? They hateful?

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 Oh no, but I'm just pointing out the dangers of your collective delusion. And the Westborough Baptist Church is a prime example of what your psychotic, free-thought suppressing religion can do. Your lack of reason or evidence-based thought can lead to horrendous cults of loonies, which can rely on faith to justify all their actions.

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 Gah. Let's move on to the basis of religion itself. What makes you believe in this, without any empirical evidence or proof?

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 But the thing is, there IS NO evidence. Especially no scientific evidence. The fact that you believe there is and I am simply ignoring it is preposterous. And don't say that personal experience is proof, because there are serious problems with anecdotes, see Qualiasoup The Problem with Anecdotes. (just search for it)

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 How are you sorry? Are you mentally retarded? I will accept only, and I will state this again so that your worshiped dictator can hear me, ONLY scientific evidence for his existence. Go ahead and pray for me, you insulting and deeply offensive person, because it won't do a thing until I see some evidence for the God you claim I should worship. Can you please, please just show me one piece of evidence for why you believe?

  • Comment removed

  • @homegrove123 Just because YOU perceive our planet as having a creator neither proves that it does, nor proves that it is your divine dictator, God, rather than any other imagined deity like Allah or Zeus. How dare you say that there is proof that the world was created by a divine being when there is NO evidence for that whatsoever. So what if the world is beautiful or can support life on SOME of its surface SOMETIMES? That doesn't meat here was a creator and it is a fallacy to believe so.

  • @Vahtacen I'm ending this, as you won't seem to come down from your throne of secular bigotry to discuss this like adults. I'm sorry to phrase it as such, but you continue to prove it so.

  • @homegrove123 Like adults? There is no evidence for your God, plain and simple. There is no evidence that our planet is designed, either. There is nothing, there is absolutely nothing at all to support your fatuous views. It is the most ridiculous nonsense that people believe in today, and I challenge you to come up with the evidence I ask for. And secular bigotry? What, because I can't believe in unproven, unprovable nonsense with no evidence suddenly makes me a bigot?

  • @Vahtacen Faith is a gift given by God to those who sincerely ask Him for it. God is not a secret but how can a father give his child a gift unless the child opens his hand, even just a little bit...even just a teeny bit...the benefit of the doubt...what if....just supposing...still under the tree...with your name on it...do you... if it was going to count forever...yes... or no...?

  • @Ginny202 No, faith is the act of believing in something without proof. How about God simply shows me that he exists, and i will happily believe that he exists. You see, I am open to any evidence put forward, but I have no inclination whatsoever (and remember, this is supposedly the way God made me) to believe that an invisible and unproven god exists without evidence. It's really VERY simple.

  • @HOMEGROVE..

u cant expect everything perfect out of humans cuz we r fallible only our GOD is infallible....so yes u can see all sorts of evil in those who claim they r Christians. but remember it doesn't mean that there aren't true Christians....so u see and talk about the majority and not of the minor exceptions. it is inevitable to avoid exceptions in nature....it is just a way of GOD showing us that such out of the ordinary exists.

  • @ariamisak Yet there is no evidence for that range of assertions you made whatsoever. There's no evidence for anything in your entire religion at all.

  • no matter the circumstanses in your life jesus will alwaiz love and protect you

  • @panderingpimp1 Like Jesus protects those thousands of starving children that die each year from preventable illnesses? I know.

  • @Vahtacen well they are in heaven now and jesus will always love you

  • @panderingpimp1 oh, good. Then there's no point in me not sinning, because Jesus loves me.

  • Keep the faith, fellow warrior of Christ!!!

  • there's your grace Lord, even when you pronounced the curse on us. you didn't destroy us, over and over again you let us live and made a way for us to be friends with you again. Thanks Lord.

  • @TheAcceber1 You really feel the need to thank an invisible being, let alone on YOUTUBE. You are really sad.

  • What is the hearts cry of every serious Christian? I believe it is, "Let me know and do your will oh Lord." The Lord is saying, "You already are. My good and perfect will is being done. Your will is as a speck to my will and plans. Your will is competely subservient to my will." The serious Christian then responds, "But Lord, unless my will is free then it is fatalistic. It really has no meaning if I am just a robot." To which the Lord responds,

  • Good song but it is called Blessed Be Your name ok?

  • I love how the tone of the song does not change when he is talking about blessings and sorrows. God is not our genie. He is God. He allowed Job to suffer so much....He ALLOWED it and in the end He did not ask for Jobs' forgiveness. He owes us NOTHING. WE OWE HIM. Ask Him for forgiveness, pick up your cross and follow Him. And do not apologize to others who do not understand.

  • I give thanks to him and bless his name for the LORD is good!

  • read the bible king james love god do not look at pastors or christians you are responsable for you

  • serve me up a cup of that vineyard music! loving it!

    god bless jesus!

  • I understand tything is important. But as of late..it has become more of a focus than it should be. Especially in today's economy. When there are members whom have barely enough to live on and/or are unemployed, there should be a little more compassion and not a response of "even a dollar will help for now". When you see pastors driving new cars, having that big screen, taking frequent family trips..not church trips, going out constantly, it makes you think what the heck is going on.

  • @diamondmotor969 It doesn't really matter what it really goes to. It's the thought that counts. Remember the story in the bible when the rich man gave his offering and gave alot but a poor woman came and gave the only money she had. Jesus said that she gave the greater offering than the rich man. Don't stress about the money because God WILL provide if you are faithful to Him.

  • @Lovee6394

So are we to turn a blind eye and keep giving when there are good grounds to question the use of people's hard earned money? I don't buy into the thought that counts...no matter if the monies are misspent or not. When a churches membership takes a massive sudden drop like the one I attend has, it is time to question as to why. Especially when a good number of them were longtime upstanding members and leaders.

  • @diamondmotor969 The first and proper response is right in this song. "Blessed be Your name, on the road marked with suffering." Pray about the problem, and God will lead you to a solution. The solution may be to leave that church, or it may be to help it rebuild. I don't know, but the Lord does.

  • @diamondmotor969 You don't think I have exerienceed. My church is going through a massive decrease in population and we are already a small church as is. Really small...BUT I just remember to keep God first. If we keep putting these simple earthly worries in our minds we will end up being focused on that more than on God. We have to remember to keep our faith and trust in Him. Forget about the bad influence and membership around you because they CANNOT save you.

  • @Lovee6394

The bad influence unfortunately is at the top and filters all thru the bottom..not just at my former..yes former church church, but at other Vineyards as well. The whole idea of the church itself is being lost which is unfortunate. I trust and believe in the Lord. What has happened to the Vineyard is sad and the lord sees this. Hopefully sometime soon the church can right itself and get back to what it was meant to be.

  • I have been a member of a Vineyard church in Ohio for 2 years now. I believe in the Lord and am faithful as a human could possibly be. But for the past year I have gotten fed up with the rising hypocrisy that made me leave my previous 'mainstream" church in the first place. I am disheartened at the fact barely anyone practices the teachings. There is more judging, more group cliques, more stereotyping than I found at my other church.

  • @diamondmotor969 Try not to let others discourage you we can only control our own actions and God is working he is amazing, try to focus only on positive and on loving others in there human state :) above all pray for these people. God bless xoxo

  • @diamondmotor969 Stop looking at men and their actions. You will never be happy anywhere you go. There is no perfect church, remember even the early church in Acts had it problems, and there is only perfection in Christ. Look at him, seek him and pour your heart out to him. If you are seeing all this problems, maybe God has burdened you to pray for them. My church isn't perfect and has its share of problems but I have seen how God has changed and changing my church because of prayer. God Bless!

  • love this song <3

  • Here is my two cents on suffering.

All of us will suffer mightily. Our choice is to be humble about it or bitter. We would all love to have God explain things like why my daughter had cancer, but that does not happen (Job never received an explanation for his suffering, he was told to be humble).

is it easy to be humble? No. But that is the true test of our faith during trials.

The Bible clearly teaches this existence is temporary and full of suffering.

  • God doesn't give us sin. We do that ourselves. Sorry dude the scripture comes from the book of Job. Job says it to his wife and the Lord. It's about all that Job lost. Jobs biggest loss was his kids. Having lost my 13 year old son recently I can tell you it's an emotional roller coaster . I"m glad that GOD doesn't change or goes up and down. He is constant. And blessed be His name for being there for us.

  • blessed be the name of the lord , and the lord blessed us !!!

  • god save us and we blessed be your name !! HALLELUJAH

  • Blessed Be The Name of Jesus! He Gives good-gifts and Takes-Away bad stuff from lives of people.

  • I LOVE OUR LORD FOR ALL HE IS AND DOES IN MY LIFE EVERYDAY

  • Naked I came from my Mother's womb and naked I will return. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

    -Job

    "I love that verse!"

  • it's a very great music :D

  • He does give and take away, everythingh we have is from God, He can't purify us with out allowing us to suffer to bring us close, if you think He'll magically make you part of a spotless Bride without spot or wrinkle, you are mistaken, Job said, " Even if He slay me I will yet praise Him." He does allow hardship and pain, more if we stubbornly decide He only wants us rich and happy. It's in offering to sacrifice ourselves we live, Jesus said, "he who seeks to save his life will lose it."

  • I love this song. And For those of you who had the long and unneeded conversation about God taking away and sin taking away. The answer is what happens is what God wants but he gives us free choice he already knows what we are going to choose so what we do is what he has planned. Simple version God does what he wants and we do what he wants even if thats not what we want.

  • not to be a stickler for details but isn't this "Blessed Be Your Name" by Matt Redman and not Vineyard? I was looking for original Vineyard "Blessed Be The Name" but can't find it anywhere...

  • nice music , i liked :)

  • I'm an athiest.

  • @homie3626 bravo for you, and what ?!

  • @bustamantedavid Nothing..

  • One of the best songs ever, can't be beat. And coach, just shut up, your wrong, everything bad today is all by human error, not God

  • @37zeus 37 catholic people are not necessary christians , you need to be born again to enter GODS kingdom

wars are not caused by christians even though they are blamed wars are caused by GREED

  • @37zeus37 you must be worshiping zeus.

What has zeus done for you. Zeus tried to kill his son to save himself (And I know this because they made me read it in school which is just dumb).

But God gave up his son to save all of us.

  • Blessed Be The Name, of our Lord (: <3 I love you God, so much, and Jesus, so much. <3

  • The Bible says the Messiah will re-appear on a horseless chariot. This must be a car or a motorcycle.

  • @Hero0fChrist How about that thing George Jetson rode? Also, I think the thing Fred Flintsone powered to work might be to much for God :)

  • Wow how nice, such a nice video....fyi....it isn't good to get into debates...they never get resolved. I have been involved in enough of them to realize this. Maybe I would save you time and heartache. Just agree to disagree....

  • @WendiHay819 So so true...but as long as someone else reading that God is a good God sees the light - then it was worth it! Yes, it works...blessings....

  • ohmydays, i LOVE this song sooooo much!<3

    what an inspiraiton!xxxxx

  • Thank you Lord...thank you Jesus...blesses be thy name!

  • Im searching for a song sung at my mothers funeral. I dont remember the name but its starts out with "there was a time, when my life was such a puzzle...." and its a beautiful song Does anyone know where i can find it?

  • God decides when we start and end our lives on this world. He gives and takes away the breath of live; his breath. This song is a reminder that no matter what we are blessed with (things, loved ones) that we can lose them just as easily as we were given them. The only thing that matters in the end is that God is good and to praise His name for the time that you had with loved ones, etc.

  • Thanks for the song and the inspiration.

  • HE Gives and takes away our SIN...not our loved ones, etc...

  • @Coach429 God takes away loved ones. For particular reasons. He doesn't give us sin; Satan does.

  • @Stvnkid92 Glad I don't serve your god...:-(

  • @TCBMinistries I serve the God. The only God. The One. The I AM. He does take away loved ones, He's ready to see them face to face. He's God. He can do anything.

  • @Coach429 He gives and takes away whatever He wants. Look at Job's story.

  • @mmcastro2 Yeah - look at Job chapters 35 till the end - Job repented for things he should not have uttered - Coach is right - If God takes away whatever he wants - that would make him a mean god. Romans 2:4 says "don't you know that it is the Goodness of God that leads to repentance?"

  • @TCBMinistries you are comparing old to new testament and lambasting people? :)

  • @TCBMinistries God is God and He does whatever He wants. He was able to give His Son to die here, at the cross. Look at Genesis 18:14. " Is any thing too hard for the LORD?"

  • @Coach429 God gives us sin ???

  • @Coach429 Coach, It really is ok to let let be God. To let Him be in complete control. Job 2:10 "Should we accept good from God's hand and not accept evil from God's hand as well." God Is In Complete Control!

Complete Control. Everything is His perfect will. He sends the good and He sends the evil. God has no permissive will. Even Satan, however you view him, has to get permission from God before he can do anything. Not just some of the time. But any and every time.

  • @therealgoodnews What you purport seeks to diminish the reality of true free will.

  • @ShaneequaRayquaza "You want to believe what you do matters. It does matter. But not because you chose by yourSELF to do RIGHTEOUS things. If you did that then put those two words together, you would be SELF RIGHTEOUS.

  • @ShaneequaRayquaza Your meaning and purpose comes by knowing you are at all times completely fulfilling My will for your life. My will is not something you have to seek. And if you are more spiritual and serious than the next guy, then you will know my will better. No, the good news is that I am working all things out to conform to the purposes of my will. (Ephesians 1:11)

  • @Coach429: Matt Redman wrote this songtext, because he and his wife lost their baby. But they are not angry now. It is a gift of faith, that for Matt Redman and his wife god stays still a good god, even when something like that happens. But you are nevertheless right: God takes are SIN away, those who believe to his son Jesus, who ist the way, the truth and the life - Halleluja!

  • @Coach429 I agree with your first statement...but God does have to power to Give life...and only he has the power to take it away...a mean sin leads to death...but God chooses the time and date of death...which could mean he takes away your loved ones...im just saying it makes sense

  • I really needed to see and hear this message today - many many thanks!

  • Sometimes God works in strange ways, but it always turns out for good. Although sometimes it seems like He is 'taking something away' when things happen in life (someone dies, we lose something valuable, a job opportunity falls away, etc), He really is only looking out for us, as there is something greater out there, for our good and /or His glory.

I wouldn't expect anyone who doesn't know Christ personally to understand this, but people asked, so I thought I would respond.

  • @homegrove123 so are you saying he "takes away" a loved one in like a car accident - and that is for our good? Why would anyone want to know a God who would do something mean. Would you "take away" something like that from one of your children?

  • @Coach429 If He "takes away" a loved one in a car accident, it is a sad time no doubt, but there is always a reason, even if we cannot see it right away. Of course, if people are in sin and doing whatever they want (i.e. drunk driving), God lets them choose to do that (free will), and sometimes the consequences hurt other people. There really isn't much more to say, if you cannot accept that as an answer then that's pretty much the end of the discussion.

  • @homegrove123 I can accept your answer to the question, that you believe God has a reason for taking someone away (ie killing them) - I just can not serve a god like that....maybe there is nothing more to discuss.

  • @homegrove123 I can accept your answer to the question, that you believe God has a reason for taking someone away (ie killing them) - I just can not serve a god like that....maybe there is nothing more to discuss.

  • @Coach429 Just to clarify, God doesn't "kill" your loved ones, just like God does not cause evil; everyone has a free choice to do whatever they will, and if evil comes from it, God will not be a tyrant to interfere with said free choice.

  • @homegrove123 You said "If He "takes away" a loved one in a car accident, it is a sad time no doubt, but there is always a reason, even if we cannot see it right away." Implying that there was a reason God did it. Of course He allows free choice & sin causes death but saying He gives and takes away to the world implies that He is responsible for things like cancer too - it just doesn't preach...Job said that in the Bible - God didn't, Didn't God later rebuke Job for the dumb things he said?

  • @Coach429 I kindof understand what your saying. It's a difficult issue to say the least. As far as I know, (and I'm pretty sure I'm correct) God did not rebuke Job for anything he said, because Job is not recorded as complaining through all of the (many) trials he went through. In fact, it was Satan that caused all of the tragedies in Job's life, if you know the story.

  • @homegrove123 You say that "God did not rebuke Job". Look at Job 38:1-4, actually most of that chapter is a rebuke from the Lord - especially vs 33. It also backs up what Elihu said in Job 35:16. Yes, I know the story...

  • Are these comments edited?

  • If your God is so good and loving then what exactly does He take away? Enlighten us...

  • If your God is so good and full of love then why does he give and take away? What does He take away?

  • You say God is love, good and all that and then say he gives and takes away - takes away what?

  • Ater hours of searching, I found the MOST Powerful PRAYER to remoev demons out of your HOUSE "mrpastor77 ghost demons"

  • werry nice song<33

  • I have this song stuck in my head, and I regret nothing of it!

Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name!

  • God is our savior and people that havent relized it r stupid (: i luv jesus!!!

  • they're not stupid. Their eyes have just been darkened by the evil one so that there's no way they could believe in Him. It's ok though because the Holy Spirit is raining down, and everyone will come to know that He is King! Let's have compassion on them like Jesus Had on us, and pray for them like Jesus would want us to.

  • Ah... an unfathomable LOVE.

    Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh is LOVE!

  • this song really blessed me this morning: I live with chronic pain from a spinal cord injury--and I am in a spiritual warfare; feeling there is no point anynmore

  • I'm so sorry about your injury veelighted7. I truly am. I'll make sure to keep you in my prayers.=)

  • i like this song Blessed is His Name.Read your bible with an open mind

and pray to God for understanding of His word and guidance.

  • its awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love it!! Thanks for posting this! God is good!

  • is genisis in the bible meant to be interpreted as symbolism or an actual historical event?

  • @MrGamingSubscriber - actual historical event. It all really happened!

  • @flerlgirl

How can i believe that? I mean, i really want to believe it but how can i believe when there is so much other proof / beliefs against it? (eg. science, other religious texts such as Qaran, Vedhas, Tora etc)

  • That is a matter of much discussion. It really depends on one's perspective. Myself, I see the Bible as authoritative over reason, so for instance, though there is "hard science" to support a 4.5 Billion year old earth, I see the Bible painting a much different picture. Even some of my closest friends think I'm crazy, but hey, so what? :)

  • THIS IS FALSE DOCTRINE---WE ARE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT NOW---MY GOD DOES NOT TAKE---ever !!!

  • polonikeman... the old testament still aplys to our dally lives as the new testament does.

  • who told you that??? someone that said god sent the earthquake to haiti to teach them a lesson----god is a giver not a taker---if you want to live in the old testament go ahead---you have free will---the prophets of the old longed for the days that we have now---

    <
