My friend has the Wii version, and he told me about Joe's death, I was so sad, and I am still on Top Secret (My god, those ice caves are hell, I guess hell did freeze over). Anyways, I am so glad joe lives, I love that little guy.

i remember joe being the only person to talk to during this mission where he found some huge blast doors in a giant glacier and half the mission you were flying through the ice, hoping not to crash

In Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3: Battle for Europe there is an intro video where another wingman, this time named "Johnny" gets shot down. It seems that game designers like to kill wingmen whose names start with the letter J.

Joe was my favorite he could make the best of things seem good I juts beat this today and It fells kinda odd just haveing two wing men on the screen at all time (Meanwhile ime houseing a german exchange studen and I'me yelling I will be avenged yu evil germans)

Yeah the game it a lot harder after you lose Joe... you have to be very careful not to get shot.

Tom told Joe to escape 20 seconds after his crash, Joe talks during his death, and Frank sounded that he didn't care about Joe when he said he had a choice of targets.

Yeah, that is because I beat the mission faster than the audio could keep up... so everything was a little behind.

After Joe dies, you have to play more conservatively, but its so sad that Joe that Joe dies, but the Stuka looks like a Fw 190.
