Filipino is just a legislated language. Tagalog is a language and not a dialect as we were taught in school. A dialect is a variant of the same language. So a Batangueno who speaks Tagalog speaks a dialect, with a different accent and intonation but still Tagalog.
well, the national language of the Philippines is Filipino and Filipino is consist of the different languages of the foreign invaders who once came in our country and also the different languages and dialects in the different plcaes in this country.
i can teach them english. im only 14 a filipino and mix. and i live in canada. im going to the philippines this christmas gonna teach people some french and english
same thing...is just that Filipino is the urban style of Tagalog while Tagalog original is spoken in the rural areas...or in this case outside Metro Manila
