  • LMAO.Its like A Clarinet/Soprano Sax/Bass Clarinet type of thing lol :P

  • Good God! What have you done man! It is very crazy yet cool design.

  • looks like an soprano saxophone mixed with a bass clarinet

  • So basically you made a gold alto clarinet with the look of a shrunken bass clarinet.

  • So if I'll be perfectly honest, I did not like that they would look like a bass clarinet when I built it, I just wanted the clock paragraph directed upwards so that the sounds would be sent up. Then I thought that the white plastic color was inappropriate garish so therefore I chose to paint it in gold paint. :-)

  • it shall be called the claxitone

  • ya more bass clarinet, needs more saxaphone

  • Well maybe but its a looong story back.....

  • hahaaaa YESSS. CAN I PLAY IT?

  • Yes if you come to sweden. :-)

  • cool

  • haha it looks kinda like a bass clarinet

  • or you could call it the saxanet

  • It seems that this would be more closely related to a clarinet, if not just a clarinet in a different shape. I say this because it's bore is cylindrical, and that's one of the main things that distinguish a clarinet from a saxophone (a saxophone has a conical bore). That's why clarinets and saxophones both require completely different blowing techniques and fingerings when being played. Nonetheless, I think it is very cool that you're doing this. Good job. :-)

  • Listen to me! I told you right in the movie that the tube is madeof PVC / VP pipes and not brass. I know myself that it is plastic, because I have myself built it and it is gold is gold paint!

  • Looks more like just a Bass Clarinet, or Alto Clarinet.

  • That's awsome

  • Can you take your question in english please?

  • Sounnds Amazing!!!

  • Vet ej. Japp!

  • @ZEG8704 i wanna buy it!! im an alto sax player and this sounds sooooo good!!

  • Good tha youm like it! :-D I´m sorry, it is not for sale because it´s my own sigle instrument, but perhaps in the future it can made in serial production. I don´t know really know, but it´s one thing you should know for this musicalinstrument.

  • sounds great!

  • Thanks!

  • No! I´ve build this in so many years so now I´ll not build any ones more, A machine can do the work.

  • Well.... It´s my own invention and project and all of my friends love it, and if YOU don´t like it get away from here!

  • a zegaphone? :D

  • play it for us?

  • @ilovebrandy713 he did you fool

  • looks like a soprano sax. nice invention. how did you make the buttons and stuff?

  • Well... But thi is handmade by myself.

  • This is cool, really impressive that you created that domesticly!

  • No, the instrument has exactly the same octavs like the clarinet from D - F#2

  • Hahaa nice job looks very professional! You shopuld call it the Clarphone! :)

  • good job:D

  • looks like an alto clarinet

  • Bra jobbat!

  • very nice!

  • You could have the body made using 3D lithography, where it would look much more streamlined. The first one would cost you about $200, but after that they would cost about $50 each. I have made some nice horns usinf 3D lithpography. Best regards Leebm29

  • when its high it sounds like a clarinet, and when its low it sounds like a sax! nice job!

  • Yes! You have right! Because it´s exactly like the Clarinet and the Altosaxophone, the lowest tone is D under the first oktav if you understand what I mean. :-)

  • haha yes! i play the sax too lol

  • Well... You have right, the saxophone and the clarinet inventions is not my but if you put both of them you have a invention maybe.

  • Man... Saxophone as well as clarinet derive from ancient musical instruments. So in a certain way neither clarinet nor saxophone are "inventions". They are just re-inventions.

Anyway experimentations similar to yours were made by many people before you. The most famous is the xaphoon by the maui resident Brian Wittman. Check out it's internet site, it's awesome... :-) Or many others.

Anyway you made a good job!

  • Otroligt bra!

  • Awsome! Keep up the good work!

  • Bra jobbat! Men du behöver engelskalektioner. =D

  • SO COOL! OMGGGG~ you made this? so nice!

  • haha, coolt! :D
