And now go listen to that video ..Steve Earle and the V-Roys 'i feel alright'... The interview at 6:05 he says 'I'm always going to be a country singer cuz I'm always going to talk like this" ... He sounds almost like a different person now. So much for that country singin career. Still one hell of a singer/song writer.

It's too bad Steve doesn't see the value in Youtube, but hey it's his opinion. I really liked his comment about art being what we have in common, very insightful. And without YT, I would have never heard it. Ironic.

Hope you don't mind my responding to an old comment. I agree that Youtube is great for finding music that is otherwise hard to find, but I don't think Steve's is rejecting that aspect of it. He is saying that for himself, as an artist, looking at old clips and comments is not healthy. He also has said that he doesn't read media about himself, because it either goes to your head or hurts your feelings.

Steve is great untill you hear his taste in music (just listen to his spot on outlaw country on satalite radio) and you hear him go on about politics
