Be careful about suggesting a moral equivalence between Hitler and Bush. It seems to suggest that life under Hitler was about as bad as living under Bush. Presuming you don't actually hold such a stupid position, you shouldn't use such a serious history to make a political point, unless there is a very specific resemblance. Hitler brought hope and pride back to his people. He stabilized the currency. He put people back to work and built tremendous public works and infrastructure projects. Had he not been a hateful and dangerous dictator he basically "fixed" the country.  Had Hitler NOT attacked his neighbors and killed millions of jews he would have gone down in history as a great leader. Why, oh why did he not see that?? He made it hard to separate the good from the bad, because the bad was so horrific...
