i own a sidekick slide scarlet and a 08 now =] i got my sidekick slide 3 weeks before ssk08 was out and i got the on the 1st day it came out!! i love it!! my sk slide is now resting peacfully in my secret drawer i have on the side of my bed! lmfao

chyeaa i been know since may? cuz my friend is a tech geek..haha, he told me the day after he found out about the rumor...of a new sk coming out, but i couldnt wait that long so i jz bought a sk slide scarlet, beside i like red so yea, but now i got a sk08 too. both sk r really good .

i've owned the lx, and i just got the 2008, i think the 08 is supeior in everyway simply because its smaller, better blue tooth, 2.0 mega pixal camera with recording, and interchangeable skins and no annoying lights that go off in your pocket every 5 seconds, and its black :)

well it depends on what you want:

you could make your own custom shells online (08) OR you could have 1 color and have the lights at the bottom (LX)

do you want something slim and easy to use? (08) or do you want something a bulky yet has a bigger screen? (LX)

smaller keybord? (08) larger keyboard? (LX) (the keyborads dont matter dat much)

the sidekick 08 and the LXb oth had a software update so they both can do the same things.

alright every1 lets vote! should he get the LX or the 08?

Well im having the same exact problem cant chose! But im kind of rolling with the 08 because its newer and everything is better on it.. but then again the LX sort of looks better to me so idk i guess it depends on wat ur looking for

My mother just bought this phone for me friday Aug. 8, 2008, and it will be here monday...

This will be my first sidekick a phone ive wanted for 8 months!

My previous phones I never got to choose it but now I do, I will just be glad because I will have better technology at my school than many others.... Yea I guess you can say. I am kinda materialistic and oh well, tell the truth and shame the devil, {charge it to my head and not my heart}. I CANT WAIT UNTIL IT GETS HERE MONDAY.
