I think once you have your digimon up to level 4, you can go to plug cape and challenge the champion digimon there and use the tech move of your digimon. It's kind of a faster way to train your digimon at this point in the game.

@Shadowbudd The one under the HP bar to the right? That's the blast gauge. The more your digimon takes damager, the more that bar fills up. when maxed, your digimon will blast digivolve into a stronger digimon basically, but only temporarily. after the battle is done or after a few turns, the digimon will go back to normal again. ex: Agumon fills upp bar, blast digivolves into Greymon to fight, then goes back to Agumon again after awhile. hope that helps!

I miss this game so much, all that hard work and I managed to achieve a lvl 99 Guilmon, it was sweet. However guilmon did move up his level fairly quick I was actually ver surprised the first time I payed any attention his leveling and saw at that time that he was on lvl 78. So when I noticed I was so happy that I got my Augumon and Kumamon in the 70's, by the time I got them in the 70's Guilmon was already on lvl 99. My greatest accomplishment!

A faster way to get the Champion level, is once you reach Lv. 3, go train in West/East Wire Forest. The Kuwagamon and Betamon there give 10 Exp. each, plus give 20-25 bits. The Betamon even have a chance of dropping a Power Charge.

@ixtroon To battle MasterTyrannomon (The one that says he's too hungry) you must have defeated the boss in the forrest first :) In the forrest there is a temple, then you've found your way into the temple, and inside the temple, after a little walk you'll find a boss, pretty easy, after you defeat him, MasterTyrannomon will fight you :)

This is another one of those games where unless you use a game shark you can't really be over leveled for the bosses

Kumamon RAPES in this game, he's so strong physically and has TONS of HP and Defense, the only problem is, he's really weak against dark attacks =(

ShadowMokujin, u have a pretty average pack that can get strong digimons if trained correctly. But my oppinion is that renamons pack is the best of them all, if u want to see some of my best digimons check out my vid ;P

you dont catch digimons on any game you are so strong they want to join you.but i do like digimon world 2 a little bit better im getting one on ebay hopefully i had a horrible friend that stole my games he got all of the ones that were stolen from me on the very next day and half of them were gone from all stores.

You lose xp if you try to train them at the same time. What i would do (and probably what hes doing) is training one to level five (which gets the champion form) then switching out for the next one in the list. Its the way i train at the beginning and its not really all that bad.

Train to lvl 3 in central park or wire forest entrance...from lvl 3 onwards... west wire forest is way better...in my opinion

I know a better type for fighting while ur lvl 4 with Guilmon (if u use him) Train your defence to 100+ than go to the Coelamon (Plug Cape) (you must bring 4-7 power charge) than let your Guilmon be beaten but heal him. After some time waiting He'll blast digivolve and you do yourself 40 EXP. (I don't know if its the same thing for the others) Well that's my tip XD
