@predatortheme - The loco is usually at the 'down' end of the train (pulls the train from Stockholm to Malmö or Göteborg, but pushes it back to Stockholm - conversely, pushes it to Sundsvall and pulls it back to Stockholm). This makes work schedules at Hagalund depot easier to manage!
Sorry to hear that. Guess Big Oil has a pretty big grip over the federal system in the US. But I believe many states in the US are starting to have high speed trains on top of their agenda.

Att tåg kör på det vänstra spåret är det normala i Sverige. Undantaget är Kontinentalbanan/Öresundsbanan mellan Malmö och Öresundsbron.

I'm gonna have to go with Buddah on this one. The X2000 is, IMO, probably the best-looking trainset in the world.....except maybe the SP Daylight.lol
