Uh, how is this a short field landing? I thought that a short field landing was where the aircraft makes a very short final and sinks er on in at a relatively high sink rate. Just askin.

@JetMechMA Short field means the runway is shorter than usual.

@1bird1125 Thats why it's called a short field landing; if it was a normal practice approach I would agree with you. Been a pilot for 25 years.

Thats wicked, i used to fly those when i was learning to fly. Brings back some memories. Wish i could afforded to carry on and get my licence tho :(
